Hi everybody (hears "Hi Dr. Nick" for some unknown reason) every time i type that greeting i hear that sentence in my head and i don't know why:blink:
Fab: happy birthday ( i saw the cake)

shadav: Glad you got some good news by way of vapemail and some much sought after sleep to boot. You need to visit this place for a while. Never a more aptly placed name for the location.

lmfao so I been trying to go through the forums trying to read up on this new mod...my brain hurts
big-headache-smiley-emoticon.gif

people talking about sanding down to reveal brass connections, replacing buttons, ect...i'm sorry I even started looking lol...I'm happy with the way it vapes lol just was trying to learn more about it and got caught up into all kinds of modifications people were doing lol

Most of that stuff is to try and reduce the resistance of the device itself. It's not really that important if you are using normal resistance coils (1.8 ohms and above) because the voltage drop across switches and contacts in that scenario aren't really that important. If you've got a problem with it misfiring, clean the contacts and if it's still a problem them maybe look at sanding the contacts etc. It should really be OK as it is.

Fab: happy birthday ( i saw the cake)

Thanks MT. I spent the day painting the father-in-laws fence then drank a bottle of home made cider a friend gave me. Then I went to sleep; I really must ask him how strong this stuff is before I drink the other two bottles.

I finally got around putting all of my vape purchases from the last six months into a spreadsheet. I meant to keep it up to date but was a bit slack with it, and truth be known I was bit scared to total it all up. It turns out I've spent twice as much as I had estimated, about $1400 against about $1200 that I would have spent on tobacco. If you take off what I spent making mistakes in the first month I would be in front. Oh well...

Shad, same thing happened to me when I won the Sigelei #19 mech lol!! It misfires enough that it doesn't get used much around here. I need to remind  Pancake  to get something to sand those contacts.

We also need new batts because the flat tops on the Panny's I bought were dented in somehow by either the charger or the Vamo, maybe the Sigelei, we're not sure. Next paycheck we get more Protank II's as well, loving those thangs

I ordered the new Vamo V5 last night, YAY :D It shipped out today along with new protank heads, neener! I got vapemail coming :D I got HHV's Shadow in the mail today too, yumminess. What about all y'all, what's new?

SirSteve, love the new name and the new sig is looking super duper awesome as well. How's that Provari treating you?

I want y'all to know that Pancake and I find ourselves saying we're gonna save after these last PV purchases of ours and go :wub:Provari  for our year vapeversary.

Well Happy Birthday Fab, if you drink enough of that cider you might think you finished the fence even if you didn't.

Steph, the Provari is great, they really do build them well.

Like that sig you did for Robino1 Ocey, and the birthday greeting for Fab is just great.

I think Darth Vader should stick to being a villain, his singing leaves something to be desired.

And a good day to all.

Hey Fab Happy birthday!

Let's see what I have for you.

LOL, I'm not sure it should be possible to wink in that helmet

Well Happy Birthday Fab, if you drink enough of that cider you might think you finished the fence even if you didn't.

Not much chance of that, but my back might stop hurting for a while ;-)

Thanks guys!

I'm taking tomorrow off and driving to the vape shop to pick up an order, which includes some batteries and my b'day present to myself: a mini protank 2! Might give the anti inflammatories time to kick in. (Note to self: visiting the father-in-law usually means painting something). This might the the only chance in a long while that I will get to visit a vape shop.

The Joyetech eMode. Hmmm... The unit looks cool, except the attys look like the "C" kind. I hope they're not.

"C" atty:

What do you think?

Not a C atty exactly, something different. 'E-mode' control head is $80 Joyetech eMode Control Head

I'm still trying to get my head around what the entire system is though... some kind of Clearo with a control head, and yeah, some kind of atomiser separate to the clearomiser proper (a la ego-c).

It would have to be amazing, or no-one is going to buy it.

ETA:

OK, 16650 battery in a tube, emode control head attached to the tube. C2 atomiser on that (yep, similar to 'C' atty) and clearo tank on the top of that. There a manual here somewhere...

ETAA:
manual not available online, probably not ready yet. I don't see how you are supposed to hook the control head up to your computer and it seems too tiny to have a micro USB port even. You may be required to buy some extra hardware to achieve the hookup.
Starter kit is listed at $129.90

ETAAA: more info here: http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=154
