My rules for my own female behavior as a 20+ year married lady.

1. Marry your best friend. Grand passions wax and wane but friendships endure.
2. Being emo without a damn good reason solves nothing (good reason being something along the lines of a death in the family or one of those giant Louisiana flying roaches in the house).
3. Never ask if a dress makes you look fat. If you have to ask then it does.
4. Alot of PMS type conflicts can be solved by simply saying "I hurt this would not be a good time to push me."
5. Never forget his birthday and never blow your stack if he forgets yours.
6. Learn to laugh WITH him not AT him.
7. Get a TIVO or DVR. If your show is on the same time his is on negotiate whos show gets recorded and watched later.
8. Have separate computers. Seriously I got a Windows box because I know his Mac loving self will NEVER touch it.
9. Take time and really BE together at least once a week. No other people. No distractions. Whatever you want to do just make sure you are each others entire focus for that time.
10. Pick your battles. Most stuff just isn't worth arguing about.

11. Love AND respect your mate. (without both, it wont last)

i have my first diy attempts going....they might suck but..they might not

i do wear a lot of black and walk the dogs at 11pm....oh wait..maybe that is darth vampire.....

Good plan. The only thing holding me back is that I can't really review DIY stuff unless it's suppliers. So RBAs might be a good next move for me. Who else is going to review in a purple top hat and a "joker" tux t-shirt? It's a heavy burden but I can live with it.
