ocey i apologize in advance for my run on sentences and excessive use of ... :D

Perhaps too much is expected from a bunch of little tiny pieces of mass-produced plastic. If they don't work, throw them away.
perhaps...but then i think...maybe i can fix them...can't just throw them out without trying? BUT i shouldn't have to fix something that has been in limited service or not at all....i could see if they were 6 months or even 2 months old

not every tank works on every PV true
not every carto works in every tank true
drip tips that work on one delivery system but not another... I have 510 drip tips that won't work in all of my 510 cartos. One is US made too.
^^ which is stupid...if there is a "standard" ie; '510' there shouldn't be such deviation and if it says "works with 45mm cartomizer"...it should work with a 45mm cartomizer no?

Expect a high failure rate. If they don't work, throw them away.
but then i think...maybe i can fix them? I didn't expect air leaks from a fairly expensive tank and a mid range tank that has been in use for like 2 weeks...which may or may not need new o-rings and a tank tool to avoid said air leaks

Too much overrated information. 2-2.5Ω will work with anything. Start at 3.7v or 6w and dial up to taste.
if ONLY the cartos that were sent with the tanks were close...they are stupid 1.5-1.8.....i ordered the tanks to use with the 3.0 cartos i ordered....because it said "45mm cartomizer"...not like i didn't research and read :)

Get it out of your system Ashtray
juice....i will not be wasting one of my working tanks for that flavor! ;)

Describe your vaping Nirvana...
oh i dunno....stuff that works barring user error...if i ordered the wrong thing to use with the other thing...my bad...if i didn't research and educate myself on good practices...my bad.....
when it is advertised to be compatible...shouldn't it be...and last longer than weeks? and not flood going from point A to point B because there is some fault in the system (air leak)...and having to repeatedly buy other things to get a "compatible" device working with other "compatible" devices....at this point....i'm going to end up with every adapter, controller, and tool available

I'm mostly serious. I imagine you are frustrated with more than just vaping, but I might be able to help with the vaping part.
i'm actually not...
i am not expecting some fantasy that fills itself, sets itself, auto-everything setup...i don't mind doing "the work"...it is just annoying that things that claim to work...do not. if i spend money on ABC that is compatible with XYZ...i expect it to BE compatible, which i don't think is an unreasonable expectation...maybe i live on fantasy island...have you seen the plane?
i appreciate the time, effort, and willingness to help...i guess i just have to accept the reality that there is NO standard and things are very rarely as advertised....
a lot of the things i listed i've already worked through...it is just how it is....it was more of "i can relate" to the folks that get over the top overwhelmed...with just picking the right ego/clearo....vapemeets, forums, us/them, and 1001 sites is just the nature of the beast. i know it isn't possible for one site to carry everything *I* want at a given time...they have to cater to the masses and there is going to be division and options in any "community"

I DO wish that vendors (online and b&m) would say "oh you might consider a tank tool, airflow adapter, whatchahizzle with this purchase because....." or "this is a great little item that we have tested with XYZ but not LMNO....so we can only say for sure that it works with XYZ" but they don't....

out of the 3 egos, vamo, provari, and what seems like a million delivery systems and drip tips.....i can use:
cheapo $3 carto tank from fasttech on the provari with a drip tip from the b&m
AND
my original ego-c Twist with a whimpy 1.5ohm carto in a "glass/metal" tank

so i can still vape..and probably sound like an ...... complaining because some ppl are in situations where they can't vape at all and don't have options....but....i have all of this other crap for *options* and they aren't currently options....

the ego-v VV V2 Mega or whatever the crud it is called quit charging within 2 weeks
the smok udct carto tank has an airleak that floods like mad when going from upstairs/downstairs or traveling anywhere in the truck (which i tried to use today...fail...couldn't even get a whimpy vape out of it)
vaperfexion has an airleak that floods like mad when going from upstairs/downstairs or traveling anywhere in the truck
none of my delivery systems currently work on the vamo

i have airflow controllers arriving this week and won the gotvapes forum contest that is delivery systems/juice (YAY!)

i'm toootally cool with stuff not working because i did something incorrectly...not just cuz "it doesn't"

i apologize to the entire forum/thread for whining

yes yes...i know...vivi nova...protank....provari...rba....got it. :)

Q: How do you know a Michigan "troll" when you meet one?
A: You ask them "Where are you from?" and they point at their hand.

P.S.
Troll = someone that lives "under the bridge" (in Michigan Lower Peninsula)...there's a bridge to the U.P....the upper peninsula...top mitten).

Hey, at least the Fasttech tank works! No worries, Hottie! I think 99% of us feel that way some/most of the time. None of this "stuff" has been around long, and what works for you may not work for me...(my experience with carto-tanks, for example!) I think sometimes we can all get a little "addicted" to more stuff, as we "chase the perfect vape." Don't be too hard on yourself!

BTW, your rant was pretty funny! I am glad to know that I am not the "only one!" Sorry you had to go through it, but at least you writing about it was highly entertaining...and hopefully allowed you to let out some "steam!"

The other day I was so frustrated that I actually bought an Njoy! HEAVEN!!! For about 2 minutes. Then it died. Thought about the Cowboy Killers, checked the price, and almost FAINTED. Smelled a woman walking by who was smoking, almost GAGGED.

Our worst day of vaping is still better than our BEST day of smoking...:wub: {{{{HUGS}}}}

But you already have those, don't you? Maybe my experience has been better because I haven't tried so many things. I have things I like and I've stayed with them. What I vape most often is a little $7 polypro tank I won in a contest. It's not very pretty and a pain to change cartos in, but a carto lasts a week so it's no big deal.

I'm serious about the trash. When I got the Protanks (which I got working, but still don't taste as good as my carto tanks) I found the heads on sale and bought 20 of them. One head gets one flavor until it dies, then I throw it away. I discovered early on that, for me, the biggest problems seemed to occur when I tried to clean stuff. No matter what I did nothing never tasted the same. So now, except for rinsing out tanks when I'm changing cartos, I don't clean anything - gunky, burned, whatever - bye bye.

i think i come across as way different that i am LOL
i appreciate everyone's concern but i am tooootally OK...just annoyed...stuff should WORK and if it needs other stuff to work...that should be stated.
having more vapegear than one person needs and NOT being able to use it is the frustrating thing...it's like "ooh i could try this flavor in the glass tank.......oh wait i can't...i want to use the vamo...oh wait..i can't...."
i am a FIRM believer in not possessing things you don't use....i *would* tooootally use them if i could and i am irked that i have accumulated so much crap...none of it will help me actually USE the other crap LOL

it really was the "use a different carto" comment that set me the little (or not so little) outburst.....cuz "golly gee mr tank vendor...i never woulda thought about that without your help har har"

I think it's stacked it runs on 2 batteries but I heard if built right stacked is safe. If I'm wrong in that thinking I will wait and get a vv reo.

I was thinking of how long it would be, then wide to hold the bottle - idk, I just got a perplexing image in my head.

I used electrical tape. Plumbers would have been better, but I don't think I have any.
