I hit a really bad patch about week 4 and week 5. vaping to nausea point and still craving the rollies. Then the vape gear lets you down and nothing seems to work right or taste any good.
Then I got the Vivi Novas working right, figured out a DIY juice that didn't taste like the tobacco flavour ....e that I had been using, and took a great deal of satisfaction from sticking it to Big Tobacco and the Tax Man.
The other thing that helped was that I smelt some second hand tobacco smoke and it was just awful. Can't believe I did that and there was no way I was going to go back to tobacco after all the hard work.
Stay strong, you can do this because it does pass.

Price and availability is my guess. For the price of what Smoktech orginally wanted you would be better off with a Provari blem. Sigelei was priced lower but you had to look for them. I have both the VAMO and Sig Zmax. I actually prefer Zmax for its size and weight though. Zmax also has the one button menu which I think boggles some newer vapors minds. The price has come down recently, at least on the Sig version and they are becoming more well known.
I want one of those National Ukes. Must have National... Ah, I didn't know they ever made them.

I've actually heard there is a 3 month "after anologues" period that can be rough. I hope it doesn't last too long for you. The danger periods as I saw it explained are:
1) After 3 days no smoking (didn't happen at all for me, and not for many other people judging by a lot of comments on these forums)
2) After 3 weeks no smoking (definitely happened to me, almost to the day. Hell for 4 or 5 days then tapered off. I vaped a lot more)
3) After 3 months no smoking (me not there yet, me not going to count)
I don't know if it would help to increase the nicotine concentration for a few days until it passes?

Happens when new things are introduced in the computer world. You think all the bugs are worked out and then it goes live and then..... Boom. System fail.
It's stacked I assume. Like Ferrel & The Oscelot said....it's either series (stacked) or parallel. Or it's disconnected. Could be parallel for super-high amps...but probably serial for high voltage...then regulated. It's the same electrical configuration as stacked, but connected by wires so the batteries are side-by-side.

No battery is ever "safe". Including the one in your car that you never think about. So...how do I answer that?
You should read through the safety guidelines from ECF. I use stacked battery box mods. I use protected batteries and it also has over-current protection with the regulator. The box mod (at least mine) is safer than the metal tube IMO....because if the batteries vent they just push the top off the box mod... kinda depends on the latch. Mine would just "slide off"...not possible to build up any pressure.
Of course, the "metal tube" comment means "depends on the vents" too. Make sure your PV is vented well even if the batteries swell.

Also to all those theorizing about the Vamo to ZMax thing it's quite simple. ZMax sounds like something you doctor gives you when you have a cold. Vamo is just more fun to say. Nothing to do with buttons, stacks or price. Just say it VAMO! Much more fun.

I've been reading for over an hour & there's just no way to EVER catch up with you guys.
It takes great power and years of missed therapy to keep up with us teacup doggie.
Seriously though even we have trouble chasing the thread sometimes lol. I just keep at it till I'm caught up and do my best to make things worse when I get there

IMHO, I'll take a 5 amp mod with most of the same features that's still reliable over a weaker mod for nearly double the price. And even as an experienced vaper, 1 button systems aggravate me. But that doesnt stop me from wanting to own a Zmax too, because it is a cool piece. But if i had to pick just one, the Vamo just seems to make more sense.
