Well hehe
I don't know much about dripping yet, but aren't condoms used to keep it from blowing out everywhere? :vapor:

Things I wish I did not learn:

    IMG_0324.jpg

Just how thick the glass of a pro tank is :(.

It took quite a fall on cement to do this. You can all thank some fat kid on a bike riding along shoving people for that one. May he hit a tree on his way home.

Vamo survived and I need a new tank, but luckily this was one of three so I am still good. And we all learned something today.

Thanks. Sucks that I lost the tank, but it also makes me like the k-pro a bit more. that's 1/8 thick from what I can tell. Quite impressive.
    Silver lining and all that.

My Vamo proved that it's pretty tough. I would have been upset had that been damaged. Heck of a trooper took a fall like that and it's still smiling.. must have been a REALLY good night last night for it ;)

 I give up  I've been reading for over an hour & there's just no way to EVER catch up with you guys.

Keep going, you're almost there. We WILL know if you miss any.

It's now clear why the moderators moved this thread from the lounge to general e-smoking discussion. We are too awesome for just the lounge!

    ETA:
I found my new National uke: http://www.elderly.com/new_instruments/names/national-concert-nrp-ukulele-and-case--NCNRPU.htm

No worries, another year vaping instead of smoking and I might be able to afford to buy it. (Eeek! $1500)!
Yet another instrument to learn. I'll have to find out what the tuning is to get a head start. Hmm, maybe I should look at the tenor, I can tune it DGBE.

Price and availability is my guess. For the price of what Smoktech orginally wanted you would be better off with a Provari blem. Sigelei was priced lower but you had to look for them. I have both the VAMO and Sig Zmax. I actually prefer Zmax for its size and weight though. Zmax also has the one button menu which I think boggles some newer vapors minds. The price has come down recently, at least on the Sig version and they are becoming more well known.

That is pretty much what I discovered in my search last night. As far as performance, both Zmaxes performed almost the same, but Sigelei got more points for build and the menu screen. It got even more points for the Version 2 which added eGo threading and raised the connection pin. I wish Phil had done a side-by-side comparison with the Vamo, but he did didn't and I was too tired to look for another reviewer I could stand listening to. Looking back over old forum threads, people preferred the Sigelei (even the V1) to the Vamo.

This is where I get perplexed. As you said, the Sig Zmax has come down in price, (a brushed stainless steel Zmax is only $20. more than a Vamo - that I don't think is SS - at exhale. You might also be able to find a deal from China) so why do I keep seeing, "for $20. more you could get a Vamo," but no "for $40. more you could get a Zmax, which is better than a Vamo?"

You have now proved what I was telling people back in March about the glass being so thick. Can you understand now why I was having trouble getting it to warm up in the morning? The glass was cold and the juice was cold and when I fired it the juice got warm, but the glass was still cold, so they fought with each other.

The glass on my carto tanks is thinner, plus it has the carto running to warm more of the juice, rather than the heat coming only from the bottom.

You do have a point about the thicker glass being harder to warm up. I had not though of that before.
