has a correctly done pic in it. So you did it properly. However, the server that is serving up the pic won't give it up without a fight. Some servers don't like people "hot linking" to their pics.

It's a bit of an internet controversy. Some sites only let your browser view pictures if they are from their own web page. Another site (like ECF) requesting the pic....won't work. Sometimes it works for 10 minutes and then substitutes another pic, or just won't serve it up anymore.

Sites like that are a pain. It's hard to tell ahead of time. Certain sites are known to be a problem. I try to avoid visiting them too, since they are richards about the whole thing. That way they don't get any extra advertising revenue from my going to their site. Kind of a boycott. I sort of see their point due to bandwidth costs, but ECF caches server-side images so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

So in the above case, it's either an invalid URL, or it's a ....-head site.

I gave up on pop culture a long time ago, first the "music" turned to , about the same time all the TV shows decided that they needed to deliver some sort of diversity message of the week, and the movies were horrible.

And of course who could forget the stupid hype about the dallas cowboys, Americas team my .

I guess pop culture is alright if you have the I.Q. of a science experiment culture, grow wool on your body and bleat, baaaa.

Well, although I defend everyone's individual rights, I somehow feel the "pop" thing is a real honey of a boo boo. Unreality TV is another sore spot.

The last straw was "Breaking News: Kim Kardashian had an XX pound baby" or some such nonsense scrawling across the bottom of the T.V. screen.

I don't watch much TV as it is...but wow.

Defending individual rights is one thing, pushing agendas is another.

And yeah, reality, (stupidity), TV is just beyond horrible. Fortunately I gave on TV before these shows became all the rage.

Don't even get me started on the, "why are they even celebrities crowd." I do have compassion for kims child, can't imagine being raised by parents who are so in love with themselves that they can't be bothered with trivial things like other people.
