My late aunt's hubby is as hardcore a nerd as you can possibly get, like some over-the-top tv stereotype; I'm pro-nerd, but this guy is off the charts (he also lives in Silicon Valley and has bank that I wouldn't make in bunch of lifetimes). I hardly ever talk to him; he didn't call to wish me a happy birthday, or anything. There's also an ego/stardust version, disposables, a "hookah" (looks like an evod clone, maybe) and refills. I note that they've also embraced a lot of different flavours than just the typical tobacco and menthol.

My feeling is that it's going to expose a whole different range of smokers to the idea of e-cigs, but I'm a little confused about their target audience.
I wonder what the FDA is going to make of this? A non-tobacco and non-ecig related company marketing their own range of ecigs. I don't think this one is going fly under the radar folks...
I note that the tobacco flavours (menthol, classic, bold) are 1.8 mg/ml while all the others are less. I can't read it on the packs but the tobacco lights and all the fruit flavours are something with a single digit, possibly even "0%".
Allow me to descend into the depths of DIY nerdyness for a moment folks.
In the quest for a better coffee vape I did my own PG extraction on some fresh ground coffee. It turned out to be fairly easy, but the main ingredient is time, which I've been very short on.
I had the coffee extract finished about a week ago and tried it as a 5% dilution on its own (better than most I've bought, but still nothing like actually *drinking* coffee). Whereas most of the ones I've tried end up tasting like burnt rubber after 10 minutes, I vaped this one for most of a day in my Phoenix dripping atty, being careful not to burn it.
This morning (Sunday) I decided to make a 50 ml batch of my ADV since I was running low and didn't want to actually run out during the house painting and moving this week. This has a coffee concentrate as a minor adjunct flavouring, and I've been trying to get this part right because it makes a huge difference.
Remembering the natural extract, I decided to try a 10ml batch with it before I made a 50ml with my usual ingredients. Success! I've got to say this such an improvement over what I was using. I've tried a couple of other coffee flavours and the results have been between "OK" and "Get that burnt rubber outta my device!" even when used as an adjunct flavouring.
Currently I'm turning up the power on the vamo to see what happens but it's being suspiciously well behaved, as e-liquid goes. I've mixed it 60/40 and the vapour is too much on the Vapeonly Mega. I'm having trouble reading the screen and vaping at the same time.
I think I'm in a happy place.

I'm afraid that the main image I get from that is the sprats of old money getting handed sports cars and yachts, living it up to excess while demonstrating how socially inept they are, yet having lot's of beautiful women in the cars and yachts because there will always be people more interested money than the things that really matter.
Since the playboy image is fictional, I can only think it is marketed to people who only *aspire* to such a lifestyle. Unfortunately there's plenty of those.
I must be getting even more cynical as I grow older...

Thanks, and congrats to you on two months too! I'm just past three months but it seems like a like a lot longer. I'm here to tell you that despite a continuing speed bump or two, it just gets better and better.
It's going to be interesting to see what kind of press the Playboy e-cigs get. I wonder if they'll go into bat if things get rough, or wash their hands of the whole thing?

I knew what I had to do. Given the history of me and the TAB, I was not foreseeing it as pleasant. So I was a bit anxious, but the path was clear. My GF handled it well.

At 7.5 watts the liquid started to taste a bit burnt, but still not burnt rubber, thankfully. I'm fairly sure my senses of taste and smell are a thousand times more sensitive than they were when I started, and even much better than they were a month ago. Previously I could never tell when a liquid was burning until it was too late.
I've now got it turned down to 3 watts and it's still producing clouds of vapour. This is insane, it shouldn't be doing this.
Quick drive by. I placed my first fast tech order 3 evods and a nitecore i2. My trust fire is not so trusty anymore. Also my monthly mtbaker order
30 ml of albino drake 30 ml of dream tea and 50 ml of hawk sauce. All 80 20 pg vg at my new 12 mg of nic. And 3 needle tips and 3 mt3 to mt3s conversion kits along with t3s coils in a 5 pack. And that concludes Julys vape mail. Kinda went hog wild on zen kindle books. Bought zen master dogens master work 1280 page and two brad Warner zen books and the Dalai Lama commentary on the heart sutra. At pride today I got a 5 buck breath deep and count to zen tshirt from my fav progressive place in the city. Ok sorry for the rambling mess of a post. I will try to be around more just been caught up in my head and real life. But I'm content and happy. Very very happy and my lady's off work the next three days.

You should like the i2, I have the i4 and it is good. My trustfire is still trusty, and not fiery. Been using the Evod clone from Fasttech for the last week on my new Zmax mini, so far I'm impressed, especially considering it is a knockoff.

The dimly lit bar is crowded with attractive, festive people. It appears to be filled with smoke. There are tiny, brief dots of lights in the crowd.
A beautiful woman in a tailored suit puts her slim designer briefcase up on the bar and shakes the rain from her hair.
The male bartender smiles flirtatiously.
"Chardonnay please," she says, while pulling up a barstool and sitting. In doing so, she bumps the back of a man next to her.
Oh, excuse me!" she exclaims as the man turns around. He is very handsome and smiles broadly when he sees her.
He glances at the briefcase, then back at her.
"Are you here on business?"
"Yes, I just got in..." she opens her purse and starts digging through it "the flight was delayed almost an hour from the storm."
She appears a bit anxious as she digs deeper in her purse.
Finally, she smiles with relief and pulls out a pack of cigarettes. She takes one out and puts it in her lips just as the bartender brings her wine.
"I'm sorry," he says, "smoking isn't allowed."
Her smile fades. She glances at the window. It's raining harder. Thunder crashes.
"It's not allowed within 25 feet of the building either," the bartender says sympathetically, gesturing that it's out of his hands.
She looks up at the mirror behind the bar, puzzled at seeing what appears to be the reflection of smoke coming from the man next to her and his friends.
She turns toward him, just as he turns to face her.
She cocks she head and looks confused at what appears to be a cigarette in his hand.
"Do you want to suck on my Playboy..." he asks mischievously
Her jaw drops and her eyes bug-out
"e-cigarette?" he adds with a wink
His friends all turn around smiling. They all have e-cigs and were obviously in on the joke
She looks at all the e-cigs and relief washes over her face
They all laugh together as she takes one of his e-cigs from a PCC
Playboy e-cigarettes...quitting tobacco doesn't have to suck
