The 19 dropped to the floor the other day, severing the bottom off yet another Protank, so I am down to two that work and one that needs a replacement bottom. Grateful I still have the two though, don't get me wrong.

What is it with the Protank bottoms? I've read several posts where the bottoms have snapped off. The Bobo had one on and fell on the floor - the Protank didn't snap off, but is noticeably bent. It still works, but looks weird.

Or when you ask a question and the person replies: "Honestly? Yadayadayada..." No, fool, I want you to answer DISHONESTLY....

Yeah, please lie to me.

And "Yo" is annoying but it doesn't set off the B.S. meter as bad as "Word" or "True Story".

Oh Steph, everything is fine in sigelei land, zmaxing away.

YO! Goodnight. I always have to go to bed just when everyone gets here...

Good night Chellemmm, I am headed that way myself.

Sorry to hear that you JDS's are still possessed Hottie, maybe you live close to an old Indian peace pipe burial ground. I was hoping maybe between you and The Ocelot that you could get them working.

Hello and good night Becky.

Then it would be a Protank :D

Just got my first Evod, a Chinese FT one. Seems OK but I'm probably spoilt by the Protank and the Vapeonly, The vapour's a tad dissapointing and I can't turn it up. I might have to see if it needs some wick taking out of it. It matches the twist perfectly however.

The S/S Innoken squonk bottle was in the same package. Very nice, but very heavy, and larger than I thought it would be. A good match for the Evod though as the long needle tip on it makes filling the Evod a breeze.

I have heard many people have found re-coiling the eVod heads from fasttech solves all of their problems. ;)

What is it with the Protank bottoms? I've read several posts where the bottoms have snapped off. The Bobo had one on and fell on the floor - the Protank didn't snap off, but is noticeably bent. It still works, but looks weird.

I saw that Cigtechs is offering their own version of a Protank bottom, the "tatroe" version. Their version only has one slot for airflow on the bottom, which will probably answer some people's complaints of the draw being too airy (I actually like the Protank draw), but they do guarantee it and say that the threads will NOT shear off. It is a little pricey though....

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad plan?

[Problem with carto]
Suggestion: Try soaking it in alcohol and then flush it out good do a dry burn ( no liquid in it)...

Alcohol... fine. Dry burn a carto... NO.

Better suggestion: Drink the Vodka, throw the carto out, get a Protank. :D

Yeah, I got some 2mm silica wick because I was finding the 2.5mm no good for bottom coils. I haven't had time to do anything with it yet because of the move. All is chaos!

Ooooh! I just put the Evod on the Vamo and found it the coil is 1.8 ohms, not the 2.6 as advertised. No wonder I couldn't turn the twist up much. The replacement heads are also 2 ohm, not 2.4 as advertised (only tested one though). Now the coil has run in a bit it is vaping better, but still tasting a little burnt. I think I'll try one of these evod heads in the Protank on the Vamo - that should show if the heads are the problem at least.

Another problem is the 'O' ring on the Evod base is a little oversize, so you have to be careful not to pinch it when screwing the base back on. I think I might have damaged this one because I didn't know about it.

Apart from the 'O' ring the quality is excellent, and since no other reviewers have mentioned it maybe it's just an aberration. Heh, they are cheaper than stardusts from a lot of vendors.

I was think it might be difficult to get the residual alcohol out of the filler, then a dry burn would be rather...exciting!

Yeah, that could work as well. "Point cartomiser away from eyeball before pressing button"

I always have a problem when I see alcohol recommended with no qualification about what type of alcohol. I have visions of people using isopropyl alcohol and vaping it by accident. Nasty stuff. It evaporates completely with no residue so is safe for cleaning etc, as long as you take care. I wouldn't use it on a cartomiser for obvious reasons.

What, you somehow expect me NOT to post this just because it's PAINFULLY obvious:ohmy:?!

Which led me to the following one, 30 minutes of a concert in Japan. Never really thought much of the song "She's a Woman" but flick to 2:38 and have a listen. It appears to be an extended version and the boys were *Rockin*.

Damn shame, I think they got busted on that tour?

I just put luer lock caps and blunt needles (with tip caps) on all my 30 and 60 ML bottles of DIY. Make refilling everything fast and tidy.

Not a bad idea Myrany. I do have some needle tip caps but they are fixed, not luer lock. Can you alternate caps/blunt needles on them or are they a one trick pony? I'm really am enjoying this Innoken U-can. Well made, spring loaded blunt needle, just a little heavier than I expected. Over engineered? The diameter is about the same as the Vamo.

On the negative side, I got home from work tonight, my last day at work, and found the that the removalists had packed my ADV juice bottles. The DIY parts box is still here, along with a 30ml bottle of Light Horse I had made for someone else and put back in the DIY box, so I'm good. I'll make some more tonight.

Second rude shock of the evening, they've also packed the espresso machine when they were supposed to leave it out. I'll be working on the house for the next five days and they've taken my bloody espresso machine. New letter box I was supposed to mount on the new post out the front... packed.

So glad I have reduced my nicotine down to 12 mg/ml otherwise I would have nic'd myself silly by now...

I wonder if they emptied the water tank on the espresso machine before they packed it? Doh!
