Oh man! I forgot about the Taryn Spin! That resulted in some great videos...(I liked the ones where the carto got freed in mid-spin)

I don't think anyone could forget Spikey, or Whiskey, or Sun doing those reports on the FDA trial which were riveting....jeeeze there are so many...

Who was the guy who did the vaping parody videos? Looked like a goth/emo costume and unicorns appeared in the vapor while he was vaping one million milligram at 240 watts, or some bunch of ridiculous numbers like that. Dang, used to know the name he went by in those videos....at least I think I used to know...

Well I remember in 2006 when I got a twisp cig look-a-like, that costed me an arm and leg, that made about as much vapour as a cig would if you kiss the .... end, without actually drawing. How I had big hopes for this device but put it away since there was no way I could get my nicfix with that device.
It took me until now to give it another try. and wow. Converted 6 smokes already!

anywhere my broomstick takes me
for me? it was December, 2009.

My cousin Matt and my Aunt made a trip from Ft. Worth, here to Htown and stayed with me for the xmas holidays.

I had been smoking analog cigs for over 30 something yrs and tried countless times to stop, using nic patches, nic gum, cold turkey, chantix. nothing worked.

My cousin Matt had this odd looking ciggy looking thing that he was puffing on.
He showed it to me and I started laughing...

anyways, laughter got the best of me and I had to try it..

anyways, I decided why not buy one and see what happens? so I made a few calls and ended up going to the local headshop called puff n stuff...they only carried 1 type of ecig, I think the rn4075 which was a simple basic ciggy looking model..I spent about 125 bucks on it, and thought, wow expensive..

the sales person couldnt give me any info on it, no instructions, no ejuice, nadda, nothing..I winged it..

it was a crap ecig and frustrated me...some times it worked, some times it didnt in terms of vaping it..

I found myself unhappy and felt like a fool for spending so much on what I now thought to be a huge joke..

fast forward a week later...I found the ecig forum and noticed that there were other type models of ecigs..

I thought I would give it another go..found myself a rn4072 penstyle at mypvshop, bought it, and was very happy with it...never touched another analog since getting it...of course, I then upgraded to a ego, direct dripping, learned to diy and just got in where I fit in lol...now of course I do on occasion direct drip, but alot of the times, use a tank that can hold up to almost 3ml and for xmas, santa is going to bring me a provari..

so, December 4th 2009, have been analog free..

what a journey...

fyi.. I have copd and my pulm doc, family doc both agree that I have been able to slow the progress..have avoided oxygen, and guess what? I have stopped taking symbicort and spiriva, tho on occasion still use my rescue INHALER.. heck, I havent had a chest cold in 4 yrs...just a friggn miracle

I remember when logging on to ECF, the 'users online' in the New Members forum averaged about 50. Now it's well over 100 most of the time.

I remember making a drip tip by drilling out a 510 cart (drip tips were a bit spendy for me back then).

I remember making a lanyard for my Riva, fashioned from the middle finger of an old pair of leather gloves.

I remember Old Goat Box Mods.

I still have my Old Goat. I bought it as my intro to bottom feeding. I liked it so much, I quickly moved up to REOs. The Old Goat was recently pressed into service about 6 months ago for my husband. It still works flawlessly. :)

wow. nice to see some of the old timer's faces. crest pro health, blue foam, those damn cartridges that held the stupid blue foam:laugh: I remember when folks hung out more on the big threads and there was more of a sense of community. When bottom feeder mods, were just as popular as these tube mods, and a satisfying vape saw still above 2.0 ;)
