Phidias - I have one. I luv it. :)

atta girl, yes Phidias...and I'm still around....those were the days alright.

i remember the leaford lanyard , the great dripping revolution, the 808 510 divide , tea bagging and the awe in which I viewed the innovators here....good times

i have a picture of the very first Phidias somewhere? it was not a feeder, but almost--- it had a storage area where all the present day feeders place there feed bottles....

ha, how far we've come!

great thread
fono

Here we go...

Almost a feeder:

Note the rubber end cap on the 808 carto (big hole cut in it) so I could drip !!! ha, ha

    Somewhere between here and there
I never would have. I remember getting vape mail on a Friday and sitting down with my box mod I made and a freshly charged battery and dripping onto a 510 thinking I was in heaven.

I also remember hanging out with a great bunch of guys in the smokeless section that I miss very much. I'm very happy to say that one of them has recently returned to the forum.

On the night of the first World Vaping Day, the elders passed down the history of their journey, post by post, memory by memory, so all would know how far we have come. We are deeply grateful for the money they spent, the experiments they tried and the frustration they endured that cleared many obstacles from the path, so those who followed wouldn't stumble as many times. For this we are in their debt and thank them for their perseverance.

Maybe this will become a tradition. Each year on World Vaping Day reviewing the accomplishments and milestones we have reached. Or perhaps we will just say "Arrrrgh!" and vape like pirates, since WVD has managed to be designated on the same day as Talk Like a Pirate Day, which isn't too bad when you consider almost every day on the calendar is taken and it might have easily fallen on Felt Hat Day, Hug A Greeting Card Writer Day, Elephant Appreciation Day or World Rabies Day. Pirates are way cooler.

As the vapor fades and monitors begin to dim the newbies fight to keep their eyes open, begging for more stories, but the night has passed and the sun will rise soon. There will be more stories another time...and perhaps, just perhaps, the elders will go beyond history and tell of the community's myths and legends...

What was the name of the large guy in the hat who did reviews?

That's it. All but two of his reviews are gone (as is his website.) His and Leaford's videos were the first vaping things I was aware of on YouTube.

Yes, MoobyGhost. He 'talked me into' getting the Bartleby and trying his favorite vliquid, French Toast.

I do believe the French Toast was responsible for my ending my lifelong friendship with cigarettes. Thank you, guy with the Fedora.

I remember Leaford as well. How bout Shawn, the Zee Cigs guy?
