Just wanted to clarify that, I saw some posts in different threads that he was making it. I figured it would have made the ggts shorter with an 18650 setup. The ggts in 18650 with the iatty doesn't look to pocket friendly in terms of size, not a problem though as there are 18350 cells available. Anyone know of a good protected 18650 cell? And Imeo, I can't be excited enough for the 20th! I got the night off so I can increase my chances of grabbing one myself. I am really fighting the urge to grab 2 of them as I want to increase the chances for everyone in the community to get a chance to experience your beautiful creations. I already picked up some 1/16" fiberglass wick and am going to buy some wire this Friday. SO EXCITED!

...I have to make the resistance too inside it so I dont really know vanalen because thats the most dificult part.

Have you made the final decision to provide the Iatty ready to go?
I don't think it would be a problem to sell it without a wire/wick mounted; the Iatty is not an entry-level device, and buyers will have to learn to roll their own eventually.
Also, it would get the Iattys on the market sooner :)

I would have to agree with this Imeo.

Noone key. I am totally alone here
I'm off work for about a week now... I'd be honored to help you with that, Imeo... ;)
...Just a thought, cuz I'm not far away from Greece, you know... :)
But seriously, are you really making them all by yourself? I mean someone could help you at least with the assembling i guess... :?:

If most people agree with that it would be very nice for me too clavit. The worse thing for me is to make 500 wires and also to put them inside. Its 3 mins work for everyone but its 500 times more for me.

As I have stated before, there is no need to install the wick and wire, just do a video.

The only reason I could think that it would be good to have the wick and wire installed would be that we would be able to see how it is installed first hand, but these are not beginner devices so we have to learn ourselves anyway. That is the point, user rebuildable atty.

We are going to have to take it apart to clean it and Vaseline it up before we get to use it any way, so save yourself the hassle.

I agree with all the other posters that we would like to see them on the shelves sooner so I am ok with the iatty not having a coil installed, like everyone said as long as you make a nice closeup video from a couple angles then I think most people that buy it can handle it. I personally should not have any issue because I have already wound a ton of my own coils, I am sure it will be a bit different but similar none the less. So my vote is please send them without winding and installing the coils that way we can have these a lot quicker. I would also suggest that you have your resellers be totally upfront about how this device will be advanced users only and that it will take a good amount of tinkering to get it to work the way that you want, otherwise you might have people that do not understand the concept buying it and having lots of trouble figuring it out.

So what do ya say Imeo? its rare that your customers /friends ask you to do less work for them so I suggest you take advantage of this, lol:laugh:
