has anyone ever thought of putting a single wrap of SS mesh round the wick where the resistance wire would touch the wick? I think it may help wicking of the juice and also prevent any form of burnt taste?

Just a thought
I have heard people mention doing that with the a2 but I am yet to try it but it sounds like a great idea.

It vapes better thiw way Lee but you need 0,16 wire to do that and not doubled. Also I have made so many wires that its impossible to not know the right length. Same will happen to you too.
Great videos, interesting how you only had wick over the top of the coil. It still vaped really well. I liked the way you just guessed resistance based on the wire length too.

Oooo, I have seen that other people have thought of that. This way we can compound the nice wicking of wick and a way to not destroy it easy

Yeah it should make for a very long lasting wick that has the best attributes of both the steel mesh and the fiberglass wick.

1,5mm of fiberglass Repent. Now I am in contact with China about aramid fiber. They will send me a sample to test it. If we are lucky we can have the oportunity to put the best wool inside Iatty.

I am not familiar with that material. I will need to research it. But if you're excited, I'm excited.

Its what the big China companies put inside their atomizers recent. It has great taste and wicks really good. Also after a small research that I made concerning health issues when I was trying to find a good material for Iatty I found that fiberglass is ok but aramid stays at the top of them

Nice. That would be yet another step forward. Besides your iAtty I'm interested in the GGTS but I'm reading it cannot be used with iAtty (no adapter or other)? I see that the GGTB can be used with iAtty but the GGTS looks much nicer, IMHO. Are you making more of these?

Isn't this the same as kevlar wick?

The GGTS can easily be used with the Iatty. You need to use a 510 -> 901 and a 901 -> 510 adapter.

Imeo, you truly are the guardian of the Vapers! I feel very lucky and honored to have the one GGTS that I have knowing how much thought and time you put in to everything you make! I'm not a collector, as I have many other things my money must go towards first (wife and children), but I plan to add a couple more to have the perfect all day vaping arsenal....including the Iatty at some point. I would love to see a mini version of the GGTB to pair with the Iatty. My GGTS is just too large to carry to work with me in my pocket, but a mini GGTB with the Iatty would fit perfectly in a flashlight belt case and wouldn't be in the way!

I build and repair nuclear plants and power plants (coal, natural gas, etc.) and they aren't very sure about what pvs and vaping are all about. A stealth vape is ideal for those places.
