@Imeo No I don't mean this. I vaped Iatty for some days and then I wanted to try if it would work with higher voltage with the same wick and wire. But the Fuse-Spring of my GGTS was destroyed after that try.

No worries, your GGTS will run just fine without a spring or fuse at all.

If it was the resistance wire you were trying to get then you got the right one. However, what resistance coil are you going to be making? It would take a length of 1.289 inches to make 1.5 ohms. This will make quite a few wraps on the coil!!

32 gauge Kanthal A-1 875 alloy
Resistance- 13.96 Ohms/Ft
Wire Diameter- .008"

Thank you.
Just ordered this wire. Please tell me I have the right one. Hopefull not just closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. :)

I was looking for 1.5 ohm yes. This not going to work? I was going by this so presumed it would be good.
I never had a coil I wound with 32ga Kanthal A1 fail even after a 30 second dry burn torture test (4.2 volts in a 1.5 ohm coil with no wick or juice on the coil). .

I get almost 5 wraps for 1.5 ohm on mine. 4 full wraps and then however much to have the wire connection points hang over so that nothing but silver/nickel comes out of the ceramic cup.
It's tight but it works very well :)

You will get 4-5 wraps on the coil with this, If you are fine with fitting that many wraps in the cup then all is good ;)

Lol, lord beat me to the reply ;)

I would love to try something like this. I'm like Atavan. Need to see a video though.

I'll see what I can do about a tutorial for it. The setup has tamed very little now that the kanthal has broken in, or I am getting more used to it :)

It's still VERY strong, but it's more enjoyable now that it doesn't put me on the verge of choking ;)

Everything is still 10+, but now closer to like 15 than 20. Day one was like smoking 5 mboro reds at once, today it's closer to 2 or 3.

The last 24 hr atomizer:
I used a doubled and twisted 34 ga. resistance wire, which is very long, 15 wraps, at 2.6 ohms. I made Imeo's no-wick coil, added the wick to the top. I'm vaping at 6.4 volts with RCR123a batteries. So far no drop in performance at all. Every thing is working 10+ very good results.

Interesting note about doubling and twisting the wire, it cuts the resistance in half. So if you use a single stand length that tests out at 3 ohm and double it with a second strand the same length the ohms will drop to 1.5 ohms, which is opposite of what I had expected.

I've been having an issue where I fill the iAtty and put it on my desk and come back later and it has leaked a ml+ or so. I'm wondering if I'm filling it too full, and somehow the interaction of atmospheric pressure, temperature and gremlins is causing it to equal out itself by releasing juice. I've been filling up to the halfway mark on the cone tube. Seals are all good and in place.

I'll make sure the wicks are tight in the slots per Imeo's recent post to see if that helps.

I like to clean iAtty and refill at night so it's ready to hit in the morning and that's one less thing I have to do in the morning to get ready for work.

Can you tell me from where the leakage comes so I can help you Repent? If its from the cap, I have leave room inside the cap for an o-ring there in case that someone has leakage.
