Looking at the package of o-rings I found at Ace Hardware, The size is 1/8" x 1/16". This size I had correlated to 3/1.8mm.
Fits like a glove with just the right amount of pressure needed to insert the ceramic into the plastic. Far cry from the day before when I tried to use the o-rings that had been already installed upon arrival. I pushed/twisted/lubed hard enough to put a scratch in my desk, through a towel, when I tried to put the ceramic in the plastic. Was scared I was going to crush the ceramic and not sure how I didn't. :)

Now as I mentioned in an earlier post I did the two different size o-rings for the ceramic. The little bigger one was 4/1.5mm. Ace had some o-rings in metric, some in standard. I tried to go with only one measurement but they were either out of the correlating size or didn't carry it.

I can attest to the fact that the correlated size and the metric size, together, provide a great seal. Each o-ring, while a different size, went into the plastic independently of each other and I had to twist the ceramic to get them in with what I felt was more than adequate pressure.

If they are ok then I am really happy Repent. I said that the o-rings for the ceramic will not fit right because when we had the 3/2 we couldnt fit them inside ceramic. The 3/1,8 fit ok so the 3/1,6 (in USA is 1/8 x 1/16) will be loosy. But I say again that if you tested them and they fit without leackage problems then we are more than ok! Good job:)

Cool. Thank you Zor. I wasn't sure it shouldn't be flush, but I not concerned now. This thing is vaping like a champ. And thanks Repent I look forward to getting my new o-rings.

Thanks for the compliments Ace my friend:)

The adapter isnt exactly at the same level with the CT. Its 1mm shorter. If it was exactly at the same level or 1mm more we wouldnt be able to use the CR:)

Just a thought experiment for now, but if I cut perpendicular slot on the ceramic and had another coil on the wick set up just like the original, would it be running parallel to make a dual coil? Any ideas/takes on dual coil configurations?

There is no room for an extra wick so you would probably need to piggyback a small piece of wick onto the existing wick and double up on the resistive wiring, hoping that the juice will jump to the extra piece of wick efficiently. But that would probably be the same as if you simply wound extra coils around the original wick and increased the voltage.

If you used two smaller wicks, I guess you could get a dual coil setup happening. You'll need to use two pieces of resistive wire instead of one obviously. But the question is, would a dual coil setup actually increase the performance compared to a longer single coil?

If I used higher voltage with matching (higher) ohms, will that make it warmer without overcooking the juice?

I'm trying to get it as warm as possible since it improves the flavor.

Yes K2. If you want warm vapor without burn taste try 3 ohms at 6 volts

imeo is a fudging genius!!! all of the GG stuff is his creation? i wish that there was more to read regarding the GG history than is available right now.

lol, thanks mister! Yes, they all came from me. Some were my ideas, some were ideas from GG people. The way that I make those ideas true is mine.

...and that is PURE genius. To have the ability to visualize a concept and then make it a reality in so short a time is unheardof. That's just the mechanical side of the equation. Add in the elegance of the design and it's a work of art.

It's no wonder so many people feel the way they do about the GG line....art and science AND perfection in performance. I like a lot of PV's, but the GG is the only one I enjoy looking at as much as I enjoy using.

Question about the making the resistance wire. In one of the videos (HD version) lmeo measures the wire with only one end of the non-resistance wire connected. In the other video Lmeo reckoned at 1.5 Ohm though measured 2.0 Ohms.
I also did this, measured with one wire connected and got 1.3 Ohms, when I connected the other end I got 2.0 Ohms is there a correct time to measure? I am sure the length of the wire did not change that much whilst connecting the other wire.
