I resolve the first issue repent. But I made same slots as the Iatty1 has so it will fit the E2 wick again because I cant import nextel for my customers.

ps....At the end with so many questions that you and other friends ask me here I will have to reveal the new design

Hey I'm all for you revealing the new design :) What do you think about making also the top pieces that are wide and especially deep enough for the XC-116 wick? You can sell them as an accessory. Having them machined would make for a nicer finished product.

Iatty2 has a custom ceramic so its not very easy for me now to make a new order repent. Lets see first if Iatty2 works and later we can make anything we want:)

Sounds good to me Imeo. You know I'll be first in line for this bad boy as well as any "options" you may make available after that. :)

Doing some research while waiting to snag one at the next sale and got a few questions if anybody can answer.

Be greatly appreciated.

Been looking at wick alternatives, should I get the XC-116? How crucial is the burn-in process? All I got are a few lighters.

Is it post open? Closed?

Thanks, now to try to find somebody selling a used one.

Blah, forgot to ask. Is the next sale from COV the same model or the updated one?

Once again thanks.

COV is now selling the E2 wick. The next Iatty out will be the revised one. Burn in process is crucial to the XC-116 to get everything off it and to keep it from unraveling. I don't care for the idea of vaping particles that shed off the 116 even after being torched. Seems to me that using SS Mesh instead of the XC-116 is the way to go. I am going to try that next, need to get a mini-torch first.

I've been using the SS mesh in my iAtty almost from day one...I had to give the fiberglass wick a chance :). To me there simply is no better wick than SS mesh. There IS a learning curve and for some it can be quite steep, but once you get it with mesh you will not turn back. I have not heard a single person yet, that has taken the time and had the patience to get the SS mesh wick right, disagree that it is simply amazing.

lorderos,
I rolled it, torched it, dunked it 3 times or more, doused it in eliquid and burned it several times. Still it shorts out every time. If its straight it works, when its bent in the iatty it shorts out. 5 hours of effort, no go, I really wanted it to work. Even if it didnt work well for me I was willing to try and try again.
Whats the secret trick to making the SS mesh work?
