Its like a UFS iAtty hybrid device from what I understand but for a guy like me I don't care about using store bought atties I am all about building my own but my god this thing is 100 bucks more than a UFS and more than twice the price of the original iAtty I love all my GG stuff but it really is getting too expensive to keep up and makes me worry that the VV will be more expensive than some of us can justify spending...

What brought you to this understanding, has Imeo said anything about it taking regular atties?

Looks like I have several people here and several PM's already from folks wanting to buy my two spare top plastics and one spare bottom plastic. I see that COV still has top plastics though for those in the US looking.

I plan on selling my iAtty v1 along with the spare parts as soon as I get my hands on an iAtty v2. Doesn't make sense to sell them separately as the new owner would want them with them being harder and harder to source.

Two of the major changes I'd like to see in the v2 model is being able to adjust the juice without removing the top cap (maybe like the GGTS) and an easier (for me at least) way to install a coil and wick (like a UFS). I may soon lose the ability to bend my right thumb at all (Docs may have to fuse the bottom knuckle) and so installing a coil and wick on the v1 model would most likely be impossible at that point.

Yes, $250 is more than double the cost of the v1 model but at this point we are all just speculating on cost VS upgrades or ease of use. I am waiting in anticipation of Imeo's debut video showing off the enhancements to the iAtty v1 model. Knowing Imeo, and the fact that he listens to his GG family, I would expect the redesign to be well worth the new cost, if not in materials used certainly in functionality and ease of use.

When I see the video I will know whether or not the v2 iAtty redesign will be a viable solution for me.

Yes it seems as this is why it will be called a multi-atty at least this is my impression of what Imeo has mentioned about it in other places as well as the paragraph description I read on COV yesterday morning before it was changed to a simple availability line.... I probably wasn't supposed to see that info yet and is why it was changed as soon as it went up....

I'm surprised to see people complaining about the price of something that they don't even know what it is yet. $10 is a lot of money for some things while $100,000 can be a small amount of money for other things based on their value and actual worth. It's all relative.

If the iAtty2 will be just a simple upgrade or a tweak from the original iAtty, the price tag may not be worth it to some. But if it ends up being something truly different and possibly revolutionary, the value may end up exceeding the asking price. We'll see... I just don't think we should start judging something that doesn't even fully exist yet, that's all. And Imeo, if the iAtty2 will be very different from the original iAtty, maybe you should consider giving a whole new name to avoid comparisons between the two models. Just a thought.

Well this is the wrong thread I reealize but all things in their own time. Right now, I am getting as excited as a kid for the 500 UFS going out this coming Monday. I also have SS GGTS #008 winging its way from Portugal as we speak.

I figure to have plenty to keep me busy (including the ChildFund) until Imeo releases the Multi-Atty. As he has said, price will be able to be discussed when the time comes. I recall when I was bugging Imeo over the UFS a couple of months back. He told me don't fall in love with anything until you try the Multi-Atty.

That is a strong statement for Imeo to make. Seeing what we have now and being amazed yet Imeo saying this new device will be the best yet? It has to be great for him to say that but that is excitement for a couple of months later. For now, I will use my excitement for on the items at hand. ;)
