Imeo I think for B and C he is thinking aout a metal ring that will go beneath the top and bottom plastic that has a small hoop that sticks out that you can wrap the wire around to make contact instead of having the wire wedged between the plastic and the metal. I will try to illistrate but it probably won't look very good.

thanks a lot fright, I understand now. But if we make this metal ring then how the wick will come inside slots and will stick out between upper and lower plastic? Even if this metal ring would stick at not the same row as the slots then how it would be possible to wrap the wire around it without a big effort to not put out the wire of the slots by mistake?

Really bad drawing because I am not very artistic but hopefully it will help get the idea.

That is a good point I hadn't thought about. Maybe if the portruding loop was very small the wick could still go through the channels. Or since it is a ring you could stick the wire then wick through the channel and set the wire loop slightly to the side.

I think if you wait to put the wick in the channel untill after you get the wire secured it might not get pinched. As for getting the plastics tight and still being able to move the ring it might be tricky but I think it is probably doable. The nice thing about this setup though is once you get the rings in the right place and the plastics tight there is very little reason to have to loosen the plastics in the future.

Might not work but I think once the plastics are available in stock I might pick a spare set and go to the local hardware store and see if I can find something that will work to try it. I would do it now but I don't think I can stand to go for an hour without my iAtty lol.

Imeo, my fear of doing the knurling on the top of the cone is that it may end up causing damage to the o-ring as you push the cone through it. which is why I thought about the screwdriver slot instead.

I am at my Dads house right now so I do not have access to the programs that I use for illustrating this. I will be back home tomorrow afternoon and will see what I can do to better illustrate what it is that I have in mind.

Sometimes I really don't know what you are talking about. I saw Imeo vaping the Iatty before months ( that's what I felt)..he used it because he tried to make the best for us. And he did, I think.
I read nearly every post here about issues and success. And now I really want to know, why couldn't you use this great device just in the way it was making for (sorry...german english). It works great in the way it was build and with Imeos instructions. If you really use it in his way, you will have no leakage...only good vape. That's what I did. Thanks you greek man....and I hope you will be back from holiday very soon, because I want the GGStealth and another Iatty

thanks a lot bg my good frend. :)

GG stealth will be ready in less than a month. After this I wanted to make the GG4S but maybe some Iatties first and some UFS would be a better move

I beg you Imeo please please please please please make more UFS soon lol.

BG I don't want to speak for the OP but these ideas aren't meant to be criticism or anything. Imeo has stated many times that he is always looking for ways to improve and these are just some ideas for things he may want to try

ok Zor.
about the A1, i dont think that a channel like this on the cone will prevent the cone from cutting the wick because the threads that will follow this channel will still cut the wick. But why you say that wick is getting cutted? Do you put wick tight inside slots?

Yes I am putting the wick as tight in the channel as I can. However, I am using the xc-116 Ceramic wick and not the fiberglass. The ceramic wick is just a bit larger than the one supplied with the iAtty and it does not suffer the same problems that silica based wicks do. You cannot burn this wick or melt this wick in the way it is being used here.

about the A2, maybe a rounded slot instead of a squared one like its now will do the job?

If the slots were just a little bit larger to allow for a slightly larger wick, then a round profile slot would work. Will have to look into it further on both our ends.

i didnt understand B and C

I will do some clarification drawings for this. I am jut trying to figure out a way that we can replace the R/NR wires without having to unscrew the individual pieces f the iAtty.

i see Zor. I too like the ceramic wick, it cant get burned. But if I make larger slots then I have to send the right wick to GG people. That means that I have to order xc-116 wick something that is possible by asking a USA friend to send it to me. But I have to be sure first that the omega site will sell me enough quantity.
