Seriously, I'm sick of rain! This hurts so much I can't sleep, my backyard looks like a lake, my front yard looks like a river! I need to dump my rain gauge but don't feel like swimming to it! It's been like this all morning so far and now they've upped it to good chance for severe tommorow, high winds/large hail.

Wow, just got the call they are closing the schools today! Yeah, it's still raining!

Ok, I'll stop the weather talk for a bit, I figured my rain gauge was getting full, I was right! Just dumped another 4.9" out of it! That's 9.25" 24hr total, so far.
On the political side, I was optimistic and hopeful as I looked into this G J you were all raving about. NO! Not interested, don't want, no thank you please! For a lot of reasons.

It's just as devastating here, for the opposite reason.

Yeah, I had a total of 9.45" in 24hrs. I still have standing water in my backyard and another bad system moving in anytime now! Trying to get all my radios charged and ready as well as keeping my phone topped off for later tonight. Lots of road closures and I want to say 6? schools closed in the area.
KD, we had three years of that here, it was so dry we has drifts of dust around the field fencing instead of snow drifts! Most of the lakes went dry and had to be restocked, water restrictions and so on. I'm sympathetic, seems it's feast or famine!

Thanks dear! I'm prolly gonna be scarce for a while, this is ugly! Big gust front, the solid yellow line ahead of the storm. The further away and darker, the stronger the winds. Then hail, the pink in the red cells, more pink, more hail! I'll see if I can do wind velocities later if I spot rotation! Storm 101 with Saw tonight!

I am, it's still 80mi off, this is wind velocities, cooler colors by warmer colors isn't good, wrapped like this, it's bad! This storm is going to be tornado warned, if it isn't already! See the heavy red wrapping the green? That's bad!
