Hi guys!

I've never tried an rta before. I've only vaped with rda:s and been a bit scared of how complex it seems with rta:s.

Whould you recommend your new ones to a beginner or are they only for veteran or advanced vapers?

Have a great day!

/Mike
i am no longer afraid of leakng when i take my tanks out with me. flavors are superb. one of the reasons i went back to smoking before, i got tired of dripping when im out. the convenience of tanks nowadays, worlds apart. i highly suggest you give it a try.

The Ares was my first RTA, ended up buying 2 more. I’d also tell any beginner that I haven’t found an easier tank to build on. Never leaks either and I carry it around all the time

My only question would be why did you decide to include the 1 ohm coils with the original?

Flavor definitely improved once I went to a 2.5mm, 5 wrap. As a beginner it took me awhile to figure it out though tbh. But flavor is also subjective I guess
The 1ohm is forgiving for begginers to build on and pack with cotton. I definately agree with you, the rta shines on a 2.5 mm 5-6 wrap 26 gauge. Its how i build mine all the time.

Hi guys.
I bought a Sceptre, tried it for a couple of days, and immediately went and bought a second one.
Of all the pod mods I've tried, this is the first that hasn't leaked a single drop.
I'm sure the answer is proprietary, but how did you manage this?

Hey Guys - would love to try the Ares 2/2 LE. Question: What is the story behind the woman that asks "can I taste your juice?" on your site?
Hey dozer!

The sample was made popular on the Howard Stern show which I'm a big fan of. But actually, it's from a porno. Back then, when "juice" started becoming the popular slang for e-liquid, I thought it was perfect in a tongue in cheek kinda way.

If I had to do it all over again today, I'da probably made a different decision. :)

Hey guys, just got my Ares 2 today. I've been a long time Ares user but it was time to try the new one. I keep getting little bits of juice in my mouth. I used the provided spaced coil, and I've re-wicked twice now. Tried higher and lower voltage. Any suggestions? I never had this issue with the original Ares. I want to love this thing! Main reason I wanted to upgrade was that my Ares fill cap always popped open in my pocket, and the new one has the stopper for that!

Hey baskIn!

It's always hard to troubleshoot something you've never experienced for yourself.

First, it's probably not e-liquid, but condensation. So I'm thinking that maybe you're a bit underpowered for your build.

I'd try a few things...

1) Try boosting the power a bit, but don't burn anything! :)
2) Try to clear vapor out of the atty to prevent condensation by releasing the fire button, but continue your draw to clear it out.
3) Make sure the atty is all cleaned out.
4) You may be over-wicking. Try a build with a bit more cotton.

Remember that all Platform products come with the QR code that you can scan and will be taken to the tutorial videos that I did for the atty. Or you can get to them directly via the Innokin website.

Also, if you're on Facebook, there's a Platform support group with a bunch of helpful people that could help you troubleshoot.

Hope some of this helps!

Hey newyork!

Super happy you like the Sceptre. It's a beauty! Although I'm sure both me and Dimitris would like to claim that one, it's an Innokin product, not Platform. So that would be a question for them!

I believe this is more an Ares-2/Platform thread with questions being answer by me and Dimitris.

When we can get back to China. :)

I was actually joking, but now you've peaked my interest.

What is the need for you to physically go to China at this point? Can't you do everything over the internet seeing how you have already built a solid relationship with Innokin?

    This is a sincere question.

Yes and no Junkle! Yes, but it's a challenge. It is SO MUCH EASIER being there with the engineers, locked in a room with a white board in front of us.

The language barrier is tough and it's sometimes difficult to express our idea remotely.

We've had MUCH MORE success being there.

    That's the sincere answer! :)

That makes sense. I thought maybe the language barrier was as bad as that.

It is. With some of the owners, management, and project management, it's not too bad. They speak very good English.

The engineers however, although brilliant, aren't good with English and I'm sure as .... not good with Chinese. Christ, I've been going there for years now and I can still only say "thank you" :)

Learn "thank you," "please," "where's the rest room?" and "I love you" in as many languages as you can and you'll be good to travel the world. :)

Thanks for the response. I listened to Stern a lot back in the day but didn't catch the reference. Always thought that sound clip was funny, but for a different reason. Also thanks for your build vid on the subox mini - that's what got me on the road to building 5 years ago. Have saved a lot of $$$!:)
