That 8 hour vape time was based on how it came out of the box. I'm curious to see how it lasts today and charges tonight. I hope it's not a bad battery. I love this thing!
I sold mine to a buddy and he vapes a lot, said he got three days before orange

Not in Colorado yet!
I hope all of you have better luck with this than I did. Bought one from Gotvapes when they first started selling them. I can't charge it anymore because the charging connector came off inside the unit. I want to try and open it up to see if I can fix it, but I need to find a star head that will fit the screws on the unit.

So it lasted for 2.5 days on a charge. I put it on the charger last night and this morning (9 hours later) the green light was still lit. Others have said they take about 5 hours to charge.

Bad cable?

Well is it showing green when unplugged and fired? If the cable was bad it would not be green except when fired.
They appear to have two 2200 mah not a single 2600 mah, so that would equate to 4400 mah, Check your charger output and do the math,
Example, 500ma (per hour)@5v would charge a 5000 mah battery in approx 10 hours if battery was depleted.

I took it down to dead last night and this morning the green light was still on indicating it was still charging. I unplugged it and it has been vaping on green all day.

The charger says 4.7v. So you're saying that charges at a rate of 470mah an hour? (Excuse me if this is a dumb question) So if that's the case then 9 or 10 hours wouldn't be unexpected.

Others have said that they charge theirs in around 5 hours. Maybe their battery wasn't down to red?

Thoughts?

I have just taken mine down to yellow for about 5 hours of vaping into yellow.Charge took 5 hours and 12 minutes for the green light to go out.I am using the Ego wall charger along with the cable that came with the MVP to charge it.I do not know/remember the charge rating of the wall charger either.

4.7 volts doesn't equate to 470 mah but most of the cell phone and Ego like chargers charge at 500 mah or less, usually at 420 mah.
And yes up to 8-10 hours is not unexpected at such a low charging rate. There is no reason that you "need" to wait to charge it unless there is no plug around or somebody can take it, it's not like nickle cadmium batteries where would be necessary to run it down first.

If you're charging from a computer's USB port most are 500 mah @ 5volts but some of the latest ones are considerably higher. I would expect the MVP has a smart board inside for the battery which would limit the charge rate so that no matter how many amps you put in only so much would reach the battery

Everyone is probably going to laugh about this, last night i set my MVP up on my desk when i went to bed, with a clearo attatched and juice in clearo with beauty ring on.Woke up this morning and grabbed for the MVP to take a hit,ALL the juice leaked out the bottom and thru the connector and surrounding threads and inside the MVP unit itself.Ain't this a b$#@$.I am 1 day outside of the warranty for this thing too,i have been cleanimg and wiping it off all day.Everytime i get a spot cleaned, the damn juice just comes out from under the cap and i have to start cleaning again.

I have a USB wall charger with an output rating of 5V 2100 mA ... is this safe to use with my MVP? This charger came from Amazon, and is supposedly for charging things like iPhones, iPads, etc. ... I got it on the logic that if the MVP can charge an iPhone, then an iPhone charger should be good for the MVP, but now I wonder ... any thoughts/advise?

So did it end up being charged OK in the end?
