^^^ Unless your wife chain vapes at 8+ watts or can't live with an 800 mAh battery with pass-through capability that allows simultaneous vaping and charging I think your wife will be delighted with the iTaste VV 3.0. Should gave more info about her, she has a Ego 650 right now and shes never ran it down, Only time it was charged Aside from when first got it, in the 2 weeks shes owned it was from me vaping it cause I wanted to get the battery some usage . She doesn't vape very much at all, My 1000mah is blue right now cause its on 20% from today ha ha..
Not sure why she want's it I guess cause it is VV and I am about to have a Vamo so she wants one with VV also .
I think it be better then her Ego 650, bigger battery and a pass through, My 1000 is pass through and I love that. I Think I would have gotten the Itaste instead of the vamo if I had known about them, I see a guy in a video using one, and looked them up today.
Read a couple people saying they dropped there Itaste and now the buttons are messed up and or this or that, but you should try hard not to drop these, I mean they have battery's in them and No battery should be dropped.
like said we have a few CE4's she has a couple of Kanger T2's and now has my mini pro tank so shes good with tanks

Definitely an upgrade from her 650, and it sounds like the 800 mAh won't be an issue for her.

Been using mine for a few months now, and that's the only issued I have - too small!

But VV and VW in a square tube format, ego and 510, nice little package. Doesn't roll away and become a cat toy

The VAMO is very nice to use at home with large juice delivery devices while the smaller iTaste VV 3.0 is handy when one is out and about or on the move. I wear one of mine on lanyard for flitting around the house to keep from misplacing a PV.

A regulated device such as your VAMO and the iTaste VV 3.0 will maintain the same warmth of vape between the first vape and the last one before the battery runs down. I would expect that your wife's 650 eGo isn't regulated which means the warmth of her vape will decline as the battery loses it power. That may be something she will like. Also, the VW will maintain the same warmth of vape if the oHms on the heads of your juice delivery devices aren't the same.

I'm normally very easy on my vape gear but I accidentally dropped one of my iTaste VV 3.0s about three feet on concrete. It has performed perfectly since. I think luck on how an electronic device falls probably plays a bigger role in survivability than build quality.

I have had the itaste vv v3 for a little over a week now and have come to the conclusion that the 1 that I got is a dud. In less than 2 days after it arrived the center pin pushed down and it was not making contact with anything I attached to it. Lucky for me I had some extra o rings laying around that I bought to fix my Vamo so I was able to fix it. Also, here in the last few days the fire button has begun to sometimes stick. And the charging cord on mine has not retracted since the 1st time I used it. I do like all of the features in such a small battery but with that being said I am disappointed considering all of the hype that this battery is getting.

Looks like I was the lucky winner lol. I probably will not return/exchange it. Just do not feel like dealing with the hassle. Besides, when it comes to vaping gear, what I can not fix my nephew can. Comes in real handy in situations like this

Can these things be taken apart like the Vamo and others? I seen a pic of one where the top part came apart when the guy unplugged from the charger.
I guess it be a good reason to buy from a vendor who accepts returns.

The top of mine has what appears to be a small rivet at the top, opposite the fire button.

And charges with the micro USB at the bottom. Can't figure out how someone pulled the top off when unplugging...

Too true about any item! It's not just vape-world

I've had my vv v3 for about a month. I have had some minor issues. It is not the most robust piece of vape gear. So far the bottom cap has pulled off when detaching the usb cable (easily fixed with some super glue). The top cap is loose and wobbles a bit. I suspect that comes from carrying it around in my front pocket. The most annoying thing is the center pin gets easily pressed far enough in for me to have contact issue with my carto tanks and iclears. I occasionally have to work the center pin out to get it to fire again. My concern is that the pin seems to be getting looser over time. All in all it is a nice little device and worth its price, but it is not the most robust piece of gear and would not recommend it as a pocket-able device.

I've had one of my three iTastes VV 3.0s since the middle of June and the other since mid-July. I haven't had any issues. One of them is on a lanyard around my neck all the time and bangs into stuff from time to time and I dropped one about three feet onto concrete. I would say that tops and bottoms coming off is a QC issue and those iTastes VV 3.0s should be returned. As long as people don't return their devices when things aren't right the manufacturer has no incentive to make any QC improvements.

If you do not already have any pick up some #60 o-rings(I got mine from Lowes), pull the pin up and insert the 0-ring and then push it back down. I cut a little slot in mine to make it a little easier and in this case I did not pull out the white o-ring that came with it. I was having the same issue as you with mine but now with that other o-ring installed I have had no problems and the center pin is nice and snug. If you want, there are plenty of videos to watch on how to do this with a Vamo. The same method applies to all. Good luck!

Peraspera, what are you using for a lanyard arrangement? A pouch style? Other than making a similar style in, say, 1300 mAh, the thing I'd like to see on the VV3 would be an attachment ring for a regular clip...

Thanks Kevin, I jury-rigged an small o-ring out of a small rubber band. It has definitely improved things. As to my other quality issues, the loose top is most likely due to my rough handling and not something I feel is the manufacturer's responsibility. The bottom cap coming undone is definitely a manufacturing quality issue. It seems it was fastened with double sided tape. It is not worth sending back for something so simple that a few drops of super glue can fix. I still believe this is a good fair priced product and am considering ordering a second as a backup. I just won't be carrying it in jeans pocket.

I've had one for about 5 days now and am happy with everything except for the battery. From a full charge (green light out) I got 160ish puffs before button goes yellow and am currently at 214 puffs and batt is down to 3.5v and the button went red. I've read people getting 400 puffs before the button goes yellow and around 800 before the batt dies.

I'm vaping a 2.1 iClear 16 at 7 watts. I realize puffs isn't a good indicator since draw time (mine is 5-6 seconds) varies but I think my numbers are a bit out of whack from some of the performances I've read about. I may have a dud. Thinking about trying to exchange but do I really want to wait a month for fasttech to send out a new one? Especially considering this one took 20 or so days to show up.

Indeed, the length of draw is a big factor, and since it's really just counting button presses... (Why don't they keep track of the duration? Simple enough to do...)

So your results may not be way out of line.

I'm late but what a breath of fresh air from kiwivap dragonbone etc. Sometimes you just gotta trust your own instincts and experience with vaping its all so subjective to individual preferences and style. I am struggling between the itaste MVP or the version 3.0 right now. (Post: $48 and change)

David, can you recall if your button is green, yellow, or red when you charge around 200? I'm not sure what to do about possibly exchanging it. I mean some people are getting some great performance out of these. I

Usually still green, although sometimes yellow. I'm really not sure about the claims of 800. I suppose if you just took 1 second drags... but I prefer to recharge before it's "needed", as it's said to extend the useful life doing so. (Unlike NiCads and NiMH)

I also have, among others, a 900 Spinner. Depending on what's on top, I can't go a full day with it, either. I find the VV3 fits in that niche. Not an all day, for me. But I do like it, nice little unit.

Have to ask, since I've made dumb mistakes now and then... You are letting if fully charge? Until the VV3 light goes out?

Yeah I'm not using the 800 as a benchmark but I'm not even getting 250 before red. Yes, every charge I've done has been until the light goes out. I'm gonna keep monitoring mine and collecting feedback. But at this point I feel like I may have a dud.
