Let's see if I understand how this should work. Say I set it somewhere between 0 & 10, put a 2ohm Atty on it then measure the loaded voltage, then do the ohms law calc and that would give me the wattage it's set at? And it will change the voltage if I change the impedance automatically to get that same wattage? This is a booster module, right? If so is it a 3.7v in? I know you just got it but figured you might know about this stuff. I hope these questions make sense and not a PIA.

Thanks

Robert

Yes it's a boosted 3.7v and it works as you described just like the Darwin. It's meant to fit in any 18650 type mod used with an 18490 IMR (needs to be a high drain IMR since it's boosted)and the kicker to reeplace the 18650. ;)

I'm no expert but from what I've gleaned from this thread and other places I'll try to answer. Yes its a booster designed to work with our normal 3.7v mods. Yes it should automatically read the resistance and adjust the voltage to deliver the set wattage no matter what resistance atty/carto you put on it. I'm nearly positive these answers are correct ,but if I'm mistaken I'm sure Jay or someone else will correct me soon enough.

woops you must have posted while I was typing.
Edit to add: Are we sure that the 18490 is the correct battery. I thought that I had read the 18500 was going to be the correct size. Although the 18490 makes more sense as that is the only high drain that I could find.

Thanks, I thought that's what it was. I might pick up one and try it out
