Just wanted to give a quick update, we are machining on the 500 Helix posts now for all three versions (ELA, P+ and simplicity are all the same).

is it wrong that i am more excited about the strata than I am about Christmas?

Update 12/23:

- The 500+ Vortex air screws are done (Fits ELA, P+ and Simplicity)

- The 300 bottom half of the Statas are done (100 P+ and 200 Simplicity)

-The 500+ Center Posts are done and still away being plated. Latest update is they should be done the first week of January (these are for all three versions, the ELA, P+ and Simplicity)

-The 1000+ Knurled Thumbscrews are done. (these are for all three versions, the ELA, P+ and Simplicity)

Currently machining on the 300 Strata Top Caps (first P+ and Simplicity). Hope to have these done the first week of January. We have 500 delrin inserts to machine after that, but those are a half day tops machining. If all goes well, we should have the Simplicity and P+ Stratas done shortly. We'll follow those with the ELA top and bottom half machining.

I'll get the Beta Testers revised units back out before the preorders get them so they can fine tune their wick/wire/airflow combos. They can share their findings anytime after we start shipping out the units to the customers.

spot on! should save lots of messing round finding what works and what doesn't. Saying that, with my sometimes shady coil building skills it wont guarantee success every time for poor me...

I can't wait to see what the Strata will look like on the ELA. Going to be one heavy ....!

I use mine with drippers like 95% of the time, so the Strata will be a welcome addition.

David, is it safe to say that you feel that the revisions are all that is needed before testing the new top caps with the new center post?

I would just hate to see that there might be more improvements needed after these hit the public.
