Please tell me if Im wrong here but this looks like a really fiddly mod, you need a screw driver to adjust the positive pin (not good but I could live with that..
but then to take out the button you need to use a large screwdriver and a paperclip?? I can imagine myself trying to assemble it again I will surely bang my head to the table a few times.
I'm sorry but this seems like a really complex mod. .
I understand that the price point was a deciding factor but the button form me looks like a homemade half fast not thoroughly made (but with great finish)

please don't get me wrong, your simplicity line is amazingly simple and elegant, but the workhorse does look too complicated

Me thinks you're overthinking the complexity thing. Geez - likely 99% of all RBA/rda's require using a small screw driver on small screws. I can't even work on them without wearing my mag-eyes. The Simplicity (same basic disassembly/assemble) and the Workhorse I can take the button apart and re-assemble w/o wearing mag-eyes. And you don't even need a screw driver to adjust the positive pin/screw. Got a dime in your pocket. That'll work.

Just got my shipping notice! Order 20092. Thanks again!

i'm 20095 so hopefully mine will be sent directly :)

got my CLT today and it's a very nice built RDA, even the the 510 pin is adjustable, plus it looks good and should match well with the work-horse

By the way, I forgot to meter the voltage under load yesterday. But what I did end up doing and much to my surprise...

I tossed an AeroTank Mega with a 0.8ohm coil head in it and it vapes wonderfully! And looks pretty great too!

Got my 18650 workhorse today and I am super jazzed about it. Machining is top notch and feels great in the hand. Button throw is a bit long but I like that for a mod that has no locking ring. Button has a very smooth travel and fires regardless of whether you press it dead center or off to the side, fires every time you press it. I know it says it is set for button top aw imr but out of the box it is perfectly compatible with Sony VTC5 flat tops so that is a huge plus. I dropped my 454 Big Block atty on it with a .2ohm coil of 24g royal wire and it vapes perfectly. I was worried about getting hot button with a build this low but no warmth from the button at all. Overall at $70 this thing feels like one heck of a bargain. Thank you so much Super T for making a 100% USA made mod that is accessible and affordable. To anyone on the fence about this mod that is reading this post, stop thinking, jump that fence and pick one up. I couldn't be happier with this mod.

Keep us posted on how your WorkHorse continues to fare with your low ohm builds! Particularly the plated contacts. I'm very interested in what a professional thinks, though I've decided to stick around 1 ohm myself.

Oh I'm very familiar with its ease of use :)
mesh
I am the genesis advocate, afterall!

I still use my DID atty when I want to use the rolled mesh. I still use genesis type attys, but with the cotton wicks It is hard to go back. Genesis type atomizers are a whole different vape though. I am pretty much an RDA type of vapor now, but it is still nice to go to genesis type atomizers once in a while. I have my 18500 WH set up with my Quasar atomizer at 1.6ohms single coil and it is pumping out some good flavor and vapor. The Quasar seems to fit the WH 18500 like a glove.

I love the DID! It's still my favorite genesis atty. I still wish DAVID would make me a genny!! :D

I think you'll really like the new tank Strata. Despite the name, coil setup and wick has nothing in common with the drip version. It also takes the guesswork out of coil setup and getting it in the airflow stream.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts manji1! I hope it serves you well :) Don't tell anyone and they'll think you have a $200.00 mod :)
