Jonah, thanks for the tip. How about pushing it through the battery connector end? I normally do that when I refill a tank. So, you are recommending filling tank from the tip end instead of the connector end?

I found that if you leave the rubber end in your carto when you push it into the tank it will protect the O-rings. I also found out that the contoured Super-T Tip I am using is not the normal size, it was turned down thinner by the guy I got it from. A normal sized tip will not fit through the base of the Depth Charge.

so got to bevel the tip of the carto or customize and/or find a d/t that is small?
with the rubber tip does that eliminate the need to bevel or use the d/t?
is there an easy way to bevel the tip?
thanks

With the Torpedo Tank it's critical that you cut the metal C-E2 Carto long enough, right at 10mm. If not, when you screw it down on the ProVari it will back the E2 back out of the end cap and leak. And, if it's long enough to seal, but too short, it can cause airflow problems. Maybe a beveled bottom connector would help in this respect. JMHO
