Yeah, this is my problem too. It's the same reason health codes don't allow the use of untreated aluminum in food/liquid contact. So it is just a little worrisome to me. Nice looking but I'll have to pass until SS comes out.

It is true 6061 is used for many food uses, but not in it's raw bar stock form as others have pointed out. Aluminum cans, foil and cookware all use some sort of coating. Cookware uses Teflon, cans have a microscopic plastic coating and even aluminum foil now uses paraffin. Also, we are not ingesting it like most people would. We are inhaling it into our lungs, which are far more susceptible to metals. It just seems funny to me that most of us quit smoking to lower our risks, not take on new unknown ones.

What Ω ce2s do you have now? I'm about to send an order for a tank and a box of guts. I'm using a Buzz so I can adjust but I was curious.

Right now I have the 2.8-3.0 and the 3.0-3.2, but I have a order scheduled for delivery Saturday. When that gets here I will have all 4 ohms ranges of both sizes.
