I bought a 5 ml aluminum tank from Jonah a while back and I gotta be honest with you all. I've gone back and forth on this thing. Not because of the tank, mind you, but because I've had hell tryin' to get these E2s to wick. When the coil is wet they are absolute heaven but when they run dry the hot hit I get is the opposite of heaven.
The latest advice I've gotten is to enlarge the notches in the silicone seal at the top where the wicks go through. I've done that and unraveled the wicks and put my torpedo back together and I gotta say, so far so good. Haven't experienced "mouth hades" yet.
So, if this works, where's the best site to get the Royal Smoker XL fat wicks? I think I have 4 left but that won't last forever.

Mist: have you tried to mod the CE2 to use a mesh wick.
I am waiting on mesh to try it out. I have heard good things about it and if it works will give me a reason to use my CE2 tanks and cartos.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about MX. So far just widening the inlet holes in the seal seems to have helped a lot. I also read about burning the wick with a butane torch but I'm not going that far. Too much mucking about for something that's supposed to work out of the package.
I wish there was a different kind of carto I could use in this tank. The thing looks friggin' SHARP on my black-n-chrome Buzz Pro.

There moding the CE2 by removing the wick and replacing it with a 4000 SS wire mesh. I am just waiting on the Mesh to so I can try it.

Mist you can get the fat wick CE2's from my website Welcome to Vapor Age - Step out of the smoke..... and in the next week or two I will be putting out a carto tank (Depth Charge).
Just make sure you oxides the mesh real well otherwise it can short out.
Yep, I have been reading most the week getting ready for my mesh to come in. If it works I will find a new love for the tanks I have and his one that I will be ordering tomorrow.
