Hey Jonah, Following vocr's train of thought, I have a tech question. Is there any reason the bottom cap of a tank can't have a 510 connector in it, where a carto can be screwed on? Would this introduce any issues with feeding the tank, etc?

Just tried to order 3 o'ring sets for the torpedo tank and a small torpedo tank. And I could not get the site to process the order. It just sits there saying processing...... never gets past that. I tried twice once with a MasterCard then with an AmEx. If for some reason you see them on your side I only want one order. If you do not see them, let me know and will resubmit.

But take your time. Only deal with this as your healing allows. I was really only ordering as a welcome back to you, nothing urgent.

the original proto was for the i06 atty which is a tad wider than the 306 i believe. Which makes for a looser fit than using the cap/cover that comes with the i06, but the theory is the same as they are both attys w/out upper walls around the bridge.I am waiting for a vendor to make a project out of it before i try it again... all thumbs here.
Welcome back JonahNM! As you are catching up on things, may I point out this as something to look at as you go along: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/229289-mwa-atty-tank-set-up.html?? I would love a harness for a 306 that would fit my Torpedo Tank :).

Hey Jonah! Welcome home and looking forward to the tube sets, pyrex, ss, etc. For my Depth Charges.
I got a bunch of Boge's for one of em but not liking the Boge as much as the Fusion carto's.
If anyone cares, I find the Fusion to be the dream carto for tanks...never a problem ... other than length, as the Fusion has an 801 rim at the bottom connector side - about 4 mm, and with an adapter, it looks like the tower in Seattle, but sweet looking and vaping on a Provari.

a btw question... I assume by looking that the caps on both Depth Charges are the same... i know your post is about Torpedo's but just asking; am i right about that and you can use any tube with either?

I've been watching the site for some pyrex tubes for my depth charge. I assume these and the SS tubes will be added in the depth charge section? Just want to make sure I'm looking at the right place. My poly tube has seen better days. I use juice with some cinnamon, and they seem to hold up for a few weeks but it's definitely starting to break down the tube now.

As other have said, it's good to have you back Jonah. :)

The tubes are interchangeable. I much prefer the 2.5ml Torpedo tube on my Depth Charges.

Anyone know where we can get cut CE2s for the torpedo tanks? Excluding Stormy's vapor cellar, as I got some from there and the metal 'cup' above the threading is a few cm too long, which make the CE2 cap not go high enough to get secured inside the upper tank cap, creating problems with vapor leak into the tank.

I can't wait any longer for vapor-age to get in stock, unfortunately, its been a few weeks now and I'm on my last one. :<

The stainless steel ones will get added in the next few days. The Pyrex may not happen as I am having to much trouble with getting them cut and finished to a quality standard that I feel is acceptable. If I have to drop the Pyrex option then I will replace the Pyrex with steel for the people that have Pyrex that is not up to standard. Thanks for the welcome back.

I have looked at this and I don't think it will work with the Torpedo. The Depth Charge should work just fine with it. The length of the 2ml tube was actually about using 901 atomizers in the Depth Charge. I just have not had time to make a how to or a video.

There are a couple of problems with this approach. The quality of import connectors is just not good enough and the amount of work in turning the threading into the cap is cost prohibitive at this time. The other problem I have had with putting threading on tanks is there are different airflow configuration on different cartomizers and atomizers making it harder to make a universal setup.

Thanks Jonah! I actually kind of do have it working, with a combo of using the plastic IKV I06 tube and a cut CE2 carto top that I cut off to make a CE2 for the TT for length. The problem I have is leaking from the bottom (around the base of the atty). What I would like (beg) to see is a delrin tube I could stick the atty in that would seal the leak and have the holes for juice to go in already prepared.

first off welcome back and hope you have a speedy recovery. the wife had the same thing happen to her a few years back so i kinda know what your dealing with. my question is when you say stainless steel your talking the tubes? if so any ideal on what the price would end up being? iv been wanting to try out your tank and use the pyrex tube but at the time i didnt have the funds due to getting the wife her own provari and now that i can i dont see the option for pyrex any more.
