Good Morning Jonah, I hope you are starting to feel much better and it's great to see you around...you have been missed!!!!

Thanks Tyleris. I am getting better every day, in some ways I feel better than I have in years and in others there is some ways to go yet. I have missed you to. It is good to be back.

What is the length of the 4ml SS tube?
I use Iken fusions in my Depth Charge with a Pyrex tube that is 28mm (1 1/8"), and it fits perfect.

The Punch jig set is a charm... i usually punch only one hole.... does everybody else use one... or two?
I use two and have even punched three! I've never experienced a leak so I figure the more the merrier!

that's good to know, as i often have to fiddle with it to keep it from drying out.
What i dread is it overfilling....though, so i'll try two holes next.
gotta be careful since i can't get any more Fusions until Isaac reopens... i still have a couple more.

If you buy some Poly tubing you can make the lengths to suit your needs. I use 1 1/8" tubs on my Depth Charge with a standard Boge carto with no issues at all. I find the 2ml tube too short for my liking but I believe it's that length so that you can slide the tube up to cover the holes and prevent the juice from entering the carto. I have no idea why you would want to do this but if you were going to try to use an atty I guess it would come in handy.

Really digging this tank Jonah. Very nice work

I requested black O-rings, and thanks very much for including those as well. I was excited to test it out right away, so left the red silicone rings that were already on there, and filled her up. I found that for some reason, with the red rings, the tube was far too loose on the bottom. If I held it by the tube, and even just shook it back and forth a bit, the tube would start sliding off. That came to an abrupt end when at one point, I picked it up by grabbing the tube, and the whole thing just came apart, dumping the juice all over.

So at that point, I went ahead and cleaned everything off and exchanged the red silicone rings for the black rubber rings. The base is now seated much more firmly. The black and red look like exactly the same thickness - I wonder if the silicone has more of a natural slippery quality than the rubber. Idunno. In any case, its dandy now, and I'm really enjoying it!!!

Has anyone tried the stainless steel tubes for either tank? I received one for my depth charge, but it looks like it's got some oxidation inside that's I'm a little unsure about. Any idea how to clean this out, or is it just safe to use this way?

Just take a cloth and some alcohol to clean it. The inside is not polished but it is surgical grade stainless steel so it is safe to use.
