I want one of these so badly but I did read somewhere (I cannot locate the source and apologize) that some vendors received prototypes or an early release. Shame on them if they are selling them as the final product! I have a Vamo and have not tried any of these box mods yet. I don't know if I would ever need a 50w mod but the 30w ones look very desirable. I watched the other video about the hcigar 30 but that made me nervous too. Seems they have similar problems to the Cloupor and I def cant afford the Hana.
I've been seeing a lot of negatives from fluid vapes...but nothing too serious. It seems like a couple of vendors requested beta versions based off your post.

Fluidvapes is the first vendor that got these in and people that ordered from them report that they cant disable the touch sensor. I dont if this is true. Its reallly easy to enable/disable it.

Fire button first and then the plus button at the same time to enable.
Fire button first and then the minus button at the same time to disable.

This works almost instant

re: locking the unit. Press plus and minus at same time. should read LOCK. reverse to unlock.
To lock touch fire on top: hold - button and then press thumb fire button. Use the + and fire to unlock.

Sort of surprised how many folks don't read the booklet or this thread to learn this stuff.

To whom are you responding? I'm sort of surprised how many folks don't know how to use the quote feature.

Between this and the defective Seven-22 mods that are electrocuting people and causing batteries to suffer thermal runaway, I personally am going to stay away from this unit despite it being gorgeous. P4Y/GL is just giving ammunition to the anti e-cig movement with dangerous and defective products. Shame on fluid for shipping out the units that are obviously the prototype batches as well.

I tried to link the warning about the Seven-22 but the site won't let me but Google or Bing it. Plus just search YouTube for Seven-22 problems. They all start out the same.

Got mine yesterday late and been testing all morning with a VTC5

new vaping.jpg

Nothing really sits flush for me even with the 510 screwed down.

Haven't gone over 30 yet,
Using a Magma at .6 is working very nice.
Using a Kafun Nano at 1.3, juice gets a bit "torchy-tasting" but still really nice
Using CLT at .4 fully open and this is really lovely - seems like the one that I will try more power on

Oh yeah
  • Elev8
  • Order number 5791 - ordered 7/2
  • Touch disabled immediately after reading manual
  • black

I think it was a few pages back someone said this was not recomennded by pioneer4you. This doesnt bother me at all, i wouldnt use the passthrough anyways. Im sure everyone has more than one battery. Just keep extras charged and swap it out.

Got my IPV 35 watt in , it is not as robust as the Cloupor mod , you could snap the back plate if you wanted to , very thin but it is aluminum .

Screws came out easily and went back in easy . Think i will use "peel and stick " foam on it for protection , it comes in thin sheets .

Fit's most tanks but will not accept my Kayfun , bummer.

It came with a Quality control sticker and passed inspection , it's a very nice mod but if you drop it , it could be fatal lol.

Even a J wrap will not be adequate protection if you drop it .

Thanks. But the news about Kayfuns not being accepted by it is definitely catastrophic for me. I almost use nothing but kayfuns except for late night dripping at home. Anybody had similar issues with kayfun clones?
