Just chiming in on a few recent posts about the ipv2 (which i am very satisfied with).

For those new to it or haven't read all the threads...
You CAN disable the touch fire button to avoid misfires (which can easily happen).
There is a protective film over screen and touch fire when shipped. You can leave it or if you want a shiny, newer look carefully peel it off.
pioneer4you does not recommend using mod while usb charging. Maybe that is why they include such a short usb cord. :)
The two screw back door is a pain and can easily strip so be patient and do not force it. The next model will have four (and i have asked them to consider using a magnet closure instead).

Couple recent (and i think cool) updates.
Denny at pioneer4you just announced a ipv 100 watt version coming soon. I started a thread on it. It will use the new sx330 version 3.

There are two wrap companies now carrying wraps for the ipv to protect from scratches. One vendor is sending me some to do a review. stay tuned.

VaperCompany now has a new shipment of ipv's. They came in yesterday...black and SILVER. Email jason and get it in 2 days for $109 (shipping free).

I already purchased a 12000mha battery bank, so I can use it all day long. Mainly having late drinks Fridays after work. Or on Thursday wings nights. Or on paintball weekends, or wile camping.

The thing is that I have a battery to charge a battery.

So you're not having any issue with a battery pack? I kept bumping the button yesterday while charging..if more current was pushed through power cable when fired, I'm sure it would've been noticed by now, but better safe than sorry..I like being able to hook my mod up to a usb cable during the day.
what was your order number? i ordered 7/9 6427
7-2 5796..received it on Monday.. mailman drove by my house 3 times before he finally brought it to my door.

I got this email response back from them when i inquired at what was going on.
We are in the Order #6100s for the Black IPVs. I wish I could tell you your order was shipping soon but Pioneer4You hasn't been shipping units out to us every 2-3 days as promised and as a result, the Black IPVS are just very backed up. So you're looking at a approximately 2 week wait time.
If you'd like, I can put you down to ship the fastest color available but if you don't mind the wait then that's great :)

I got this email response back from them when i inquired at what was going on.


I received the same e-mail this morning and today they updated their site with this information:

*Update @ 4:41AM EST 7/30: Good evening everyone!


Just would like to make a quick announcement. We are shipping whatever Pioneer 4 U sends us. They have promised us that our order would ship on July 15th, this did not happen. Now they are shipping out batch by batch. They were not able to meet demand and are now very behind with sending out units. Please do not think that we receive these units and stare at them for hours, we are actually anxiously waiting on these shipments so that we can send them out as soon as their in. Please just keep in mind that we really can not control how fast Pioneer 4 u produces these mods or how fast they ship them. We are at their mercy. If it were up to us, these orders would have been fulfilled by now. It is hard to be patient for something you want really bad, we really understand. We just want everyone to know that we are doing our best at getting the units out, but it really comes down to Pioneer 4 u and how fast they ship them to us. Enjoy the rest of your night/morning!

I agree ..and I wasn't referring to any individual post. It seems to be a general complaint. Fluid vapes also seems to have a good share of complaints. If there is anything to be learned from this episode it is to be patient and avoid preorders. You end up suffering delays and the likelihood of ending up with a faulty product especially given the less than perfect quality control of Chinese mod manufacturers in the early batches.

Good luck with that lol, that will never happen , as soon as the next greatest thing hits , all hell will break loose with pre orders again.

They replied to my email within a few hours yesterday. Elev8 gave me an estimate that that my blue IPV 50 watt (order #5875) would probably ship from China late next week. However, I was very clear that I wasn't expecting an absolutely firm date.

I've ordered artsy-crafty odds and ends from China for years. It's not uncommon for Chinese manufacturers to get very cagey in their responses when they run behind on orders. My guess is that Elev8 isn't getting firm shipping dates and is reluctant to post dodgy responses.

My guess is Elev8 is very disorganized and very ineffective at handling large volume purchases , you have to have a very efficient process and it needs to be well oiled and flow well .

Other vendors don't have nearly the problems this vendor does , it seems it's always Elev8 and a select few others.


Well, a quick email or a return call would have put me more at ease. Even on their FB page people have been asking for some type of update and they have not said anything for about a week now. I was fine a few days ago and content to wait as I saved about $30 and I do have other devices but it is the lack of communication that is now causing me to have some doubts, especially when I do see others getting theirs so quickly.

How is it that these suppliers have theirs and are shipping right away vs elev8. That's my concern. Would the manufacturer possibly have gotten upset over the discount elev8 was giving so they have slowed or even possibly ceased their shipments to them? See, I over think everything and this is why I live on the island of misfit toys.

Because most other vendors know what their doing thats how , Elev8 seems to get drunk dreaming of all the $$$ but can't devise a system to get all the units to it's end user effectively enough.

I do not think the pricing of Eev8 has anything to do with the shipping times or vendor response , Elev8 imo is offering the units at a heavy discount to replace customers that are repeatedly canceling due to their inept processing system.

And i don't buy into vendors not being able to do business with certain manufactures based on what shipping times they promise .
These Chinese manufacturers will sell literally to anyone at anytime and the more units the better , they don't give a rats ... about delivery times as long as they get paid .

If the payment process was dependent on delivery times you would get them much faster. Two friends of mine got their iPV's weeks ago from Eciggity , three days after they ordered it . They both ordered them after the 20th of July lol.

What kind of vibe do you mean? The kind of vibe that says "you have my money and my product and can't even answer an email?" I work in a service industry. People would walk if we were this rude and I'm walking from them. It's business not personal. I have to protect my interests too. If I wait too long I can't get any money back. And they haven't exactly been installing confidence. Oh well, they have till August 5th

C, mon Garym93 , you got to know a joke when you hear one , breaking balls pal , no hard feelings , it will work out just fine.

Ight my bad lol. Thought about that after I wrote it it came off a bit harsh. I'm just very uncomfortable about the whole situation. I didn't even really feel comfortable about putting in the claim. I almost feel bad about it. And, I got a tobh clone from them but I could only put in a claim for the full amount so if they don't make it right I kind of stole a tobh clone. But I guess that's their problem and not mine. The whole situation just makes me very uncomfortable I don't like doing things this way I prefer to talk them out but if I'm getting no communication back I really can't. Which is sad. I don't want fluid or me to lose anything on this deal but I'm putting myself first in this situation.

Every person on this planet has things that they have extreme difficulty with or it just makes them extremely anxious , your no different than a ton of others. At these times you just have to fight through those feelings until an outcome is established. Unfortunately that hasn't happened yet but it will .

New to the thread but I have one on pre order from elev8. It is a bit frustrating, but the made it clear it could be weeks before we receive them. Also, your theory that they dropped the price to replace customers that cancelled doesn't make much sense to me, since the reason they have so many orders in the first place is its been on discount for weeks now, during the pre order.
My experience with elev8 has been positive, I got a response in 48 minutes, told me last Thursday it would be two weeks, but from experience I know to double that. It is frustrating that they don't put out more info, but all of us knew or should have known there was going to be a wait when we ordered, their website was pretty upfront about that.
Sure, they may have an inefficient system, but I'm not willing to pay an extra 38% to get it a couple weeks earlier. It does seem to be pretty random who they reply to, who knows how they are choosing who to answer?
This is my first time ordering from elev8, but this seems to happen every time there's a pre order, the website with the best price are never on time, and I have learned to accept that. It shouldn't be that way, but it seems to be most of the time.

for 15 dollars more you could have had it in 2 days from vapercompany

Vapor company is 109, that's 30 dollars more unless I'm missing something
Edit: Also, its easier to make that call when every one actually has stock, when I ordered many companies did not, and those that did were selling out quick (early last week). If any of them could have guaranteed it to me last tuesday for 95 with 2 day shipping, I would have done it. Its kinda harder when its 110, with it being a crap shoot of if your order was early enough to get one from their first batches.
