I too wish to explain my self although i felt i was clear as mud in my opinions i have no hate for provari or the people that make them but this world is full of products that have a strong following that their fan base light torches grab pitchforks and riot at the slightest criticism aimed in the general directtion of the object of their desires those people also have a one size fits all answer ( my car broke down ... See you should have bought an apple computer... What the hey does apple have to do with my car woes.... Well it doesnt but thats beside the point.... Well thats the issue i have provari owners bellieve that everyone should have one and get irate with people that dont agree
That was the point i failed through no lack of trying to make
I figured it would many people...the peeps on FB are even busy finding amazing color coordinated Drip tips to match....
now if it came in these colors:

Is it ok to come back out now?........ (The all clear has sounded)
5 years ago most of us were vaping KR8080D carto's
5 years ago most of us were vaping KR8080D carto's it's not that great a value.
Will try not to but it always turns me off of things
You could put those matches away...if you...just got a ProVari!
And a simple observation that if we all put as much time and energy into fighting for our united cause, as we do for or against devices, we might stand a chance against the onslaught of idiotic legislation building up against us.
We ARE united as vapers, so let us all fight together. From Blu to Provari, and everything in between and around.
And yes, in case I hadn't mentioned it, just get a...![]()
I do already. I'm all over the Congressional sites dumping my 2 cents on em. You guys aren't?
As for my Provari story... I bought the Provari FIRST, before launching into figuring out which mods are most flimsy... so I'd never run out of something to vape while I saw what's out there and what everyone was talking about. Well. My experiences have ranged from an over $100 mod defective out of the box (itaste 134), a MECH mod broken in shipping (Iching Bagua), a mod that makes my finger buzz with electricity when I push the button tho this doesn't really bother me much and it amuses me. The ONLY mods that have held up well are the MVP2 and the VTR, and my MPV2 doesn't hold a charge even 1/2 as long as it did when I first got it... at 2 1/2 months old.
Meanwhile, my used Provari that was 2 years old when I bought it, and all scratch up, that had obviously never been cleaned even once in those 2 years... is my strongest mod, and the most used. I don't see it dying ever. And I torture this device. It's my atomizer ohm tester, my battery tester, my juice tester, my 'baseline' for measuring every other device. And after I've dropped it 100x and used it 12 hours of every day for the next few years, I'll probably be able to sell it for more than I paid for it, to buy another one if I want a different color. What's not to like?
And I'm far from a 'single mod' person. Here are most, but not all, the mods I have right now:

Here's just the mods sitting on my desk today:

If I could have one mod, it would be a Provari. I HAVE almost all of them, am now starting to look at hand-built mods... wish they had the Provari internals... that would be bliss.
Because OTHER PEOPLE say that Provari are great batteries means you should deprive yourself of a great battery? So if no one who's been to a certain restaurant has said bad things about it, but love it, you can never go to that restaurant? That makes no sense.

New things to come, and not new colors
i will post updates once we get closer to a eta

It's always funny to watch this kind of threads, almost like a good movie
Fact is, in the last 2 years or so, I've come to some conclusions:
- Provari is one of the better devices on the market, but its design it's long outdated, 3 years in the vaping world means ages.
- I couldn't care less about VW, as long as you can turn your voltage up and down, you can get the perfect vape in a matter of seconds.
- I couldn't care less about the e-go threading, I don't use this type of atomizers and even if I would use them, I wouldn't put them on top of a Provari, just looks crappy because of the size.
- I owned a Provari, sold it because I mainly use mech mods and because I like diversity, using a single device all the time feels like wearing the same clothes for months because they are well made and keep you warm, why change this?
- no matter what others say, Provari is a boring device and unfortunately not so indestructible as many people seem to think. Mine had the topcap coming off a little, had to constantly push it back (was using some heavier atomizers), and the circuit board was way too exposed for me to consider it solidly built, starting with the battery contact on the board, a small brass pin, soldered directly to the CB.
- back to the design, why the slanted cap? Why do I have to buy a separate piece to get the flush look with any of the RBAs with the same size (diameter ) as the Provari? Of course, when they designed it, it was a world full of 510-type atomizers, no 22mm beasts, but even then, a 510 atomizer looked crappy on the Provari just because of the difference in size. But things change, no matter what the guys at Provape think.
- yes, the chinese products are more or less cheaply made, but they improve as we're talking, just look at the recent mechanical mods or clones, and how dramatically the materials and machining quality improved for some of them.
In some way, Provari at the moment reminds me of the Pila chargers, once the best, now surpassed by others like xtar and they still don't seem to care to come up with something new (that is, if the company still exists, not quite sure about this).
Am I a Provari hater? No way, it's a nice product, but unless the Provape guys take a look at what people want or need, I'm afraid the future is not that bright for them.
I understand your position Glassgal, but Provari is exactly what most people want 90% because of the hype, not because it is like some describe it, the best thing since the inventing of the wheel.
I'm not saying Provari is bad as it is, on the contrary, my issues with it are the lack of innovative spirit of the company (now don't tell me it's just perfect so it can't and shouldn't be updated, there's no such thing) and a design which to me is simply boring.
The guys at Provape don't have a real competition because no manufacturer is really interested in VV-only devices anymore, the vast majority of the vapers want VW, that's what all companies are focusing on.
Oh btw ''as for surpassed'' - I was talking about the Pila chargers.![]()
Lol, yes, I'm from Romania, nothing to do with the metric system or the Celsius/Fahrenheit debate
About my mindset, there's not a lot of difference, I just want quality like anybody else (never owned a Chinese regulated mod, probably never will until they come up with consistent quality). To us Europeans, quality is usually described as Made in Germany for tools, Made in Italy for clothing, Made in France for perfumes and Swiss Made for timepieces. Or Made in Romania for vaping mods (see MarkBugs for instance).
I'm sorry but if Provari doesn't change anything, they will not be there anymore in 10 years to create something.
Not sure if I got it right, you say that as an American, you get stuck on things, but evolution is just natural, you can't be nostalgic about tools, never wanting them to change, otherwise we'd be still stuck to medieval technology or worse![]()
