You and me both, snork. I also stated I was perfectly happy with my Ody and Pene, but somehow I just couldn't resist when CoV opened up orders today

I think the pre-order they started today is for the ones that are on their way to them that haven't already been spoken for. At this late stage, he knows how many he's actually getting and how many are already taken from the original pre-order. Knowing Bruce, he ordered a whole bunch more than what was ordered in the initial pre-order. That's my guess, anyway ;-)

I couldn't help it either once I saw that email notification.
After I made the quick order, without thinking, I thought to myself; "Why the hell did I order that!? I am happy with my Penny and both versions of the Oddy and thats why I deliberately missed the pre-order!"

because many people from everywere write me e-mails and ask me why i dont have the Ithaka on my online shop to sell and other seller do this.
My answer is very simple, i think that is not ok for the customers who have order from presales and paid for the order over two months ago to see now that some others can buy the ithaka in the last days before the ithaka arrives to the sellers.
I will send first all Ithakas to the customers from the preorders and after that i will put the rest in our onlineshop from where everyone can order direct.

Can't argue with this! I agree totally. Hopefully my USA shops will at least be shipping the orders that were paid for months ago first. Which I believe they will.

I completely respect your opinion on this because those who have shuffled their funds around to preorder these SHOULD be first to receive. I am thrilled that more people will get one, but I also hope that those who have had their money tied up for almost 4 months get theirs first, and then those others that get on ordering one today get theirs after. The right thing to do.
