Yeesssss, beautiful firearm. I decided a long time ago that I was going to get myself a nickel plated .45 1911 with custom wood burl left handed grips for my 21st birthday, and that's still the plan. Damn near impossible to get a concealed carry license in Los anges county though, and because I dont have $45,000 to donate to the sheriffs department and I'm not a judge or in law enforcement/security, gna have to sede for a sport license :/

Luckily, in Florida, a CCP is easy to get assuming you have no felonies or a current restraining order against you. :)

Same in CT. At least in Florida you have the Stand Your Ground law(think that's what it's called)... in CT it's quite different. CCP is almost pointless unless someone is coming at you with a weapon, and doesn't lose said weapon after you shoot them.

Yes, we have the stand your ground law, modeled after the castle law in TX but there are some differences so if you're in FL you will want to read it in its entirety :)

Here is a sneak peek of the new toy I have been talking about. This is Petar K's new "The Vapor".

It weighs in at just over a fly and can blow clouds capable of changing the weather. It eats juice and batteries don't last more than an hour or so, but the performance is so stellar that it doesn't make a difference.

The idea behind this was to mimmick the feeling of smoking a cigar as closely as possible using a Genisis with an automatic switch and do so in a very light weight package. For all that it was designed for, this little beast is a winner.

It takes a little tweaking but once dialed it it works great and even though it has no lock per se, just a quick 1/4turn of the cap and it cannot fire so the in effect is a workable power cutoff :)
