Just ordered the magnets: 10mm dia x 2mmA x3mm dia csk hole NORTH N42 magnets that was all I could find and some Cyanoacrylate adhesive.

When I posted that I ordered magnets you sent me a PM requesting that I sell you some since your shipping would be so expensive. I replied to that message and said that I would send you some since I'm getting 50 magnets.

I guess you no longer need them.

Rodeo,

I buy a few from you anyway if possible as they are smaller and with that can try a different setting on the switch, also got some Cyanoacrylate adhesive from them, so yes please I am still interested!

I've had the wick in for 2 days, and thought that it would get better since that's what I've read. I've made a new wick, and bored out the fill hole to 2.8mm as per Mac_206 directions, and haven't had any issues. The wick and coil hasn't broken in yet so Im only expecting better. So far so good, and the katana will definitely become my all day PV.

Cheers to all the Katana peeps

Update: been using the same coil and wick for 3days now. All i can say is WOW, absolutely love this thing, it hits like a champ. Since boring out my fill hole to 2.8mm ive had no wicking issues with pg or vg juice, I also widened my air hole with a 1/16 drill bit and the vapor production, flavor has increased. Let me say this one more time, I LOVE MY KATANA.

I ordered 10, I can send you some, so Rodeo does not have to do all and the ECF will not ban him for being a supplier ;-)
Does anyone know where i might be able to get some magnets for my switch? I tried the link to the 50 magnets on ebay, but unfortunately they do not ship to canada. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Maybe it is a little bit easier to put together with the magnets glued, but I have had no issues taking it apart and putting it back together again (numerous times). The only thing I can see with the glue is that if you don't like the magnets you will have a heck of a time cleaning things up to put the spring back in so to me the glue is a detriment in many ways with the only benifit being that it is a little bit easier to assemble with the magnets glued.

Ok ... got some magnets from a friend, and could only use 2 little ones, one on each side, or the switch doesn't close far enough for the screw head to touch the battery. It works but is not strong enough to support setting the Kat down.
Has anyone done anything differently?
Maybe a larger diameter disc? Definitely not thicker.

I am going to try these ... http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=R821

I can stand it up with out the lock ring screwed down and it won't fire

Brian - I have a V2 .... I tried 4 and I couldn't push it to get the button to fire .... let me try again ....
I just one on each side right now. I though 4 must have been too thick.

Nope, 4 won't let the screw come up enough, I have 3 in now, and it barely touches, but is firing. Should I have 2 mags on the batt side and one on the other? Or does it matter?

It looks like yours has more room between the lock ring and button than mine ... your button is down farther. Maybe you have a longer screw?
