Lorderos - that is what I have in regards to the air inlet hole ..... I thought you meant the fill hole should be at 6 o'clock, in front of air inlet.

Ok, mine is right!! LOL

I did the oring mod and it seems no different to me.....but then I did not require enlarging the air hole either.... plenty of vapor and flavour.... and my lungs are not as large as Ricks

I sure wish the postal service was faster to Canada king....:(
but if you have an ODY then you'll be fine until she arrives :)

Now I am going to try the Z*****s ...... I know I'm swearing....however Blu and I are experimenting....but it's Blu's fault.....I was really proper till I met her

I know exactly what you mean. Its super hard to do but my reasoning is that i could always get another ody, but i cant get another katana at normal cost. I do have another ody but it hasn't been used either, lol. also the P&P will be out soon and those will have mini ody on them.

That's why I have UFSs - -I hated my Odys and have no interest in the P&P...........:(

So I take it we'll be using the same process to disassemble our Katanas to install the new tanks that are coming in the co-op? Can you please post a video tutorial or at least some pics so I don't mangle mine? And what should I do differently b/c I have a v1?

That would be nice, cleaning had not occurred to me up to this point...........:)

Yes, it is almost exactly the same process to replace the tanks :)

I will definitely be doing a video tutorial for all of the mods in the co-op as well. I don't have a Mini or Maxi, but I have the original Genisis by POC (an oldie but goodie for sure) and it is almost exactly the same as the Mini and Maxi so I will use it for the video for those.

Also, for the V1 Katana, the process is exactly the same :)

Took of the top and align the wick hole with the air hole. Had a hard time putting back. And after putting back realise the tank is slanted and tank cover cannot be put back. :(

Will have to finish my juice and take out everything again.

That is why I put in there to lube the orings :) It goes back more easily if the o-rings are good and wet. The o-rings that I am sending with replacement tanks on the co-op are made of a better material and they go on MUCH easier than the original ones :)

lorderos, paid. sorry it took so long.

question. My post is caked with gunk. what is the best way to clean that?

I use a non scratch scrub pad if it is really caked, but usually I just hit it with a steam wand :)

I saw our payment earlier and marked you as paid in the co-op :) Thank you very much for that.

Lorderos, may i ask what is the size of the o-ring that you're sending with the tube

You certainly may, I am sending BUNA-90 16mm OD x 11mm ID x 2.5mm thick o-rings. This is the correct size for the Katana as verified by POC, but is a much more durable o-ring than was originally sent. These are what I always change mine out to for ease of assembly and I figured I'd send the better o-rings to everyone to make life easier and to ensure trouble-free use for everyone that is getting tanks from the co-op. :)

Hmmm I'd probably put in a pretty penny for one that had the original Katana logo on it, since mine is wearing off of the battery tubes... :(

Well if I can get the pyrex, I know that I can do the acid etching. Got plenty of experience working with mylar stencils (work a lot with relief printmaking, etching, and silk-screening), so I'm sure I can scan my katana's tube to pull an image of the actual engraving and just go from there.
