Exactly, the GG button on a Katana and a telescopic battery, all just because. The ladies can file this in the "boys and their toys" category :)

Well put. But it's especially exciting for me because I much prefer the GG's side button to the Kat's bottom button, and I just gotta give some love to my GGs!

I admit I am gonna have to try Scott's button-screw fix .... also has anyone used Lock-tite (or whatever it's called) on their screw? I use my button lock thing a lot, and I am always unscrewing the whole darn button ....

I had the same trouble. The blue Lock-Tite works like a charm and you can still adjust it. Just a drop on the bottom threads.

Maybe some shrink tube around the area where the button gets stuck could work? (instead of grind down the threads)

If it does not work, you can always remove the shirnk tube and try Scott's button-screw fix. :)

I have read that people are using different size wire other then the 32GA they were running 30GA does it really make a difference in the vape??? Throat hit warmer vapor????

Wire sizing will change the resistance per mm/inch/etc. If you use a wire with less resistance per inch, it will allow you to do more wraps and achieve the same resistance. More wraps = more surface area being vaporized = better experience (generally speaking). :)

I'm of the opinion that the magnetic button would be the best solution.

Just some friendly advice blu :)

Never ever put loc-tite on threads you need a reliable electrical connection on, bad things will happen and you will become very upset. To hold the button in place more securely, use noalox on the threads. It will help maintain the electrical connection and will tighten the threads a little bit...just enough that it won't unscrew so easily.

That is what I did :) it works perfectly!

There is one issue though. You have to use a shrink tube that is slightly smaller than the screw and stretch it around to put it in place. The tolerance is fairly close and if you use the right size heat shrink it will be too thick and will jam the button.
