Thanks lordeross33. I'm eagerly waiting for my katana to arrive(thanks Kami), and the first thing i will be doing is aligning the air hole. I've been strictly using the ody for months now and i'm contemplating on trading it for a V1 Katana. I want to keep the one from Kami new, since its hasn't been used, and intend to use the V1 katana as an all day pv. what do you guys think?

This is what I believe you have, and if so, it's how it should be.
If you connect the dots between the inlet hole, the wick hole and the electrode holes it makes a "Y". If you do not remove the nylon and flip it, the fill hole will always be on the right of the wick and air inlet.
i would never get rid of my 2 ody's for anything even if i stop vaping or my GG's for that matter, but that's just me
I think POC would be upset with you, he made these to be vaped furiously
It's not a bad idea though to keep one new and with a stock of batteries and juice for the zombie apocalypse.
Lorderos - that is what I have in regards to the air inlet hole ..... I thought you meant the fill hole should be at 6 o'clock, in front of air inlet.

I know exactly what you mean. Its super hard to do but my reasoning is that i could always get another ody, but i cant get another katana at normal cost. I do have another ody but it hasn't been used either, lol. also the P&P will be out soon and those will have mini ody on them.

Flip nylon? Huh? I want to align my air hole and not use an o-ring lol...
So I take it we'll be using the same process to disassemble our Katanas to install the new tanks that are coming in the co-op? Can you please post a video tutorial or at least some pics so I don't mangle mine? And what should I do differently b/c I have a v1?
Just a funny story to tell... I made a new wick tonight, and while doing the buildup w/ VG the wick shot searing hot juice out of one end of it, landed on my finger, and now I have a nice blister! rofl... Also rotated the white insert but vapor production is about the same, but I'm not complaining. TH is a little stronger - or maybe I just finally got this down pat?
I think some vids do the modification proper justice. These have been posted before, but I'll repost em to show everyone why Mac and I (as well as a few others) bore out our airflow holes...

Took of the top and align the wick hole with the air hole. Had a hard time putting back. And after putting back realise the tank is slanted and tank cover cannot be put back.
Will have to finish my juice and take out everything again.

Damn, that's a pain. Make sure to lube the o-rings up with enough pg so the tank slips on as easily as possible
