Kayfun Nirvana!
thanks optimo and rodsky. That helps alot. I've got this thing sitting on an evic at the moment. I think I'll stick to the 32g I've got in it now. I hate having to wait for any atty to heat up. With the 32g and 5 wraps I've got in it now, I get 1.5ohms, great heat up time and tons of flavor and vapor with a piece of peaches and cream as my wick. If it aint broke, dont fix it right? lol

Does anyone have a KF 3.1 & a plus? Are u running the exact same build & getting the same results? I've had my 3.1 for a few days now & I've been setting it up exactly like my plus, 6 wrap 30 Awg kanthal on a 3/32nd drill bit @1.8 ohms, running 9.5-10 watts, with cotton. This this build on the plus is great 4 me but on the 3.1 I just couldn't get the same flavor out of it.

So now I'm using everything the same except for 29 Awg kanthal & running a 7 wrap @1.3 ohms @10.9 watts & it is performing the best yet, but still not exactly as I would like it to be performing. Now the 3.1 setup won't work at all for me on the plus, so I am wondering if I'm missing something here with the 3.1 or what.

Thanks for any guidance with this

Just got my KFL+ and set it up via the VapeRev video method. Really good vape so far; tons of throat hit and flavor. The draw on it is much more open than my Squape.

Quick question though. How do you know you have filled it to the max? Mine didn't come with the window so I just took a shot in the dark. Will it overflow outside of the screw hole?

I believe it holds 4.5 ml, so you could use a syringe with measured markings. If you use a syringe, just fill slowly, and when you see the juice start to come out the fill hole, back out the plunger on the syringe, and it will suck out enough juice to make an air pocket.

You should have gotten a window if you bought it new, and it's not a clone...

I swear I have blonde moments like this all the time. Didn't even think to look all the way at the bottom of the little box... Anyways, thanks.

Man I love this thing. I want to order a second one for my second adv. I do add menthol drops to that one and it sometimes crystallizes/freezes a little on glass tanks so I'm wondering if the plastic tank could handle it or not.

I did see larger clear tanks that replace the rest of the metal so the whole thing is clear. I'd love to be able to see the whole juice level instead of the half way point. I find it silly to not be able to see how much juice is left...

Does anyone know if the plastic can withstand acidic juices like cinnamon or menthol?

My new toy just arrived! I built a microcoil somewhat roughly as it got a little squashed during the setting torch. I threaded some cotton through, mushed it down a little and what a fantastic vape. The flavor is very nicely concentrated and this thing does vape warm.

As I hoped, in terms of VTF, it does outperform my AGA-T with a reduced chamber cap by a decent measure. The throat hit seems very adjustable with the airflow control. The only one complaint I could have is that the clear window section wasn't de-burred around one of the inside edges and there's a little molding seam on the outside. Now I just have to get used to being able to hold my mod upside down!
If you have already own a reduced chamber genesis this piece is well worth considering.

And why exactly would you have to get used to holding your mod upside down?

Is anyone having an issue with a small amount of juice leaking between the bottom of the KFL+ and the top of your MOD? Every time that I remove the two there is a build up of juice on the top of my MOD and the bottom of the KFL+. I have ensured that the fill screw is tight and I don't know where it is coming from.

I get it too...sometimes. After I refill, I take a q tip or a pointed piece of paper towel and completely dry the fill screw area. I suspect there is a drop lurking in there by the oring. Also, some people have reported that there is a small leak at the airflow screw. You can use a bit of Teflon tape to seal that up.

You can't hold a genny upside down cause it'll leak...you can hold the KFL upside down, cause it won't.

That's almost comical.... In fact, downright ignorant if you were trying to be comical!! I asked xyanide because I wanted to know why he has to get used to holding it upside down. Maybe there is an actual reason for it other than, you can just "do it"... I wasn't trying to be funny in any way. Was asking a legitimate question as to his reasoning of holding it upside down.

And, "I" can hold "my" genesis atty's upside down and they won't leak!!! It's all in how you build them...

So happy for you that your Genny builds are superior to many, many others on these forums. Not trying to be funny.
