I'm sure most clones are just as good as real, but some have been known to have issues. The issues besides fit and finish have been airflow issues and channel sizes. I personally don't think the kayfun is finicky but maybe if I started learning Rebuildables with this device the maybe so. Maybe because I spent 2 years rebuilding genesis attys, it gave me a head start. I truly think it's in the amounts of wicking material, but once you find this consistency, it's not to bad. I know most have heard less is better but I'm not so sure. I feel like I have a decent amount of cotton in my coils. I get a fair amount of resistance when inserting. Once I have a good amount in my coil, I then slide cotton back and forth until the center of the wick gets slightly sheared, thus reducing the amount just where the coil is.
