The top lead set up allows the coil to sit down in the slot, instead of above it. I use a single piece of cotton, from a cotton ball, which sits in the slots, on a straight line in and out of the coil. I then trim the cotton exactly even with the edge of the platform. I've had no leaking nor flooding.

r u using nr leads? they look a whitish color??? or is just the photo?

I thought the coffee was part of the setting up process ;) and obviously the kayfun

Yeah, gotta have coffee, when doing set ups. I'm still fooling around with the new ios7 on my phone, and syncing my pics with icloud to my laptop. Obviously, I'm better with coils and wicks, than I am with computers.

Would you happen to have a link for the O-rings? I haven't had time to setup my KFL I ordered a couple weeks back (12 hour days, 7 days a week taps me out by the time I get home lol) but I want to make sure it will handle my DIY Djarum Black juice, will I need to swap out all of the O-rings just to be on the safe side?

I ordered these:

008 PTFE O-Ring, 55D Durometer, White, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD, 1/16" Width (Pack of 10): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Pretty sure they are the right size, and from what I've been able to find, PFTE is the best material for resistance to both Citric and Malic Acid. I get them on Tuesday, so we shall see ^_^.

Ok guys. Got a question. Just ordered a KFL and it should be here any day. I also have a Diver for which I have a lot of NR-R-NR ready wires.

Is it possible to use these in a KFL? I know it's not mandatory but will it work?

Congrats on the K-Lite purchase. With regards to your question, I don't see how you would use the NR-R-NR wires in the K-Lite. The posts are more like a RDA so are barely about 1/2 inch apart.

Let's see what the experts have to say about it. :)

Oh my...the flavor and vapor on the K-Lite is amazing!!! However, I just wrapped a 1.2ohm microcoil with cotton, and two problems popped up, first time I filled it, juice was pouring out of the air inlet, so I took it apart and put it back together, filled it again and juice poured out of the driptip. Any clues on what I'm doing wrong?

Try filling it like I do, from the top. I remove the topcap, tighten the chimney that got unscrewed when removing topcap.
Place a finger on the airhole, and fill her up.
Put the topcap back on, but just one thread or so, turn it upside down, remove finger from airhole and secure the cap.
If any gurgling, hold upside down and blow through air hole.

something isn't sealing properly, most likely the oring (4c) in the topcap.

I never tried it Blix's way. I'm sure it works. I always invert-fill (upside down). I think BC is correct...you haven't got all the segments seated all the way. Ensure you are snugged up and filling upside down should be no problem. I use a 5ml syringe with 18ga blunt tip. But similar will work. Tilt upside down at a 45 degree angle. Fill until you get a pea-sized air bubble at the top of your viewing window segment. Screw fill hole and you should be good to go. Never had a problem doing it this way.

This is the exact one I use. There are others. It will fill and unfill your KFL.

No need for a syringe if your bottle has a nipple top that fits in the bevel of the screw hole. Just push bottle against the fill hole to make a seal and squeeze. I put the device at 45 degrees and fill until the air bubble just reaches the bottom metal section. :p

That was it, thank you gentlemen, this thing absolutely rocks!!! I fear that after I get my Russian 91%, I might not have to buy anything else...

BTW, regarding battery life with the Kayfun, I've been running a 1.6ohm coil on mine for the past 3 days. I bought two eFest 18500's and two 18350's and I gotta say, the 18350 saw me through the entire day yesterday. I was afraid I'd have to change it every 4 hours but by the end of the day (started using it at 7am, ended at 12 midnight) I still had 3.68v on it. I had gone through an entire tank of Gorilla Juice on the KFL with this battery.

The 18500 ended my previous day at 3.9v with the same amount of juice consumed.

I'm guessing all these cries of low battery life come from sub ohm vapers, but I don't think I see a need to go lower than 1.6ohm for my tastes. I guess I'll order 28awg Kanthal and try a 1.0ohm coil to see if I need the extra heat.

Some juices have eye droppers and not nipple tops. Yes, you could get bottles with the tips but then at 85 cents/syringe....
