for the obvious, the coil with the larger diameter will be higher in resistance, besides that I would imagine that the coil with a smaller diameter will heat up slightly faster , be a tad bit warmer and may produce a little more TH. as for vapor production, that's a tough one because the diameters are kind of close , I just don't think there will be a noticeable difference in vapor production but if I had to guess, the lower resistance one maybe. flavor? also a tough question. from my experiments with micro coils my 16g needle diameter seems to be the best. I have done slightly wider coils and slightly narrower ones and the 1/16 size seems to have a better taste. but it may not be the diameter, it could be the temp or balance of the whole set-up. all in all it will be very close in comparison between both but I always prefer the lower resistance coils in all aspects
Well explained. I'm a cool vaper so perhaps I might like the larger coil more. But again, we're not talking about a huge difference here so it might not be noticeable. I can't go subohm on a regulated mod so I'm just trying to figure out the best coil set up. I know with 28 ga I'm going to have to go 2mm minimum. Anything less and I enter subohmland.
Thanks Diver.
