Man I have to jump in amd agree that I am having issues with the KFL+'s AFC. I had sanded down the air controll screw with a dremel but in the process I apparently hurt the threads and I was not getting a seal at the afc scre hole and it was messing with my vape. I kept getting burnt hits and after I checked for pressure leaks I found the problem. Had to go back to the replacement screw amd back to the extra draw tightness.

I should try to put some teflon on the modified screw to see if that fixes it. If not I would trade my KFL+ for a non +. I really never had an issue with the fill hole and I actually liked the original more for the way that I fill and unfill it using the tips of my bottles against the beveled screw head seat. This method doesnt work as well with the +,

Just an FYI the "NANO BODY KITS" are back in stock! Got two of those babies coming to town. :) going to look great with my Nemmy and the hybrid kit...so excited :D

Thanks! Now why couldn't those have been in stock when I ordered my hybrid kit...it's still in the mail. Mine will go with my GP PAPS.

Couldn't find the Nano kit on VapeRev's site, maybe I'm just not looking in the right place Paul, your link showed me m-tanks and the extension tube, thanks though...and the crss link had the tank parts but didn't picture the nano chimney, and no description of parts provided...thank you as well.

I've got several kfls and a r91%.. sometimes they whistle, sometimes they don't. Sometimes if it's whistling and the air hole in on top.. I turn it over and the whistling stops. It's never been consistent or bad enough to bother me.

As for machine oil.. I didn't have that problem with my first kfl or the one I got in a trade. The R91% had a machine oil taste but after 3 washings it finally went away.

This last order I received yesterday had two kfl+s (ordered one for someone else) One has been washed and washed and the machine oil taste is still there but not as strong after the last wash. With the second new one, the machine oil taste wasn't there after it's first initial washing.

I guess I'm going to have to boil that one with the taste. :glare:

donnah don't boil the KFL+ inside the the new KFL+ in the AFC there is a tiny ball there i forgot where but svoemesto had commented on another forum site that boiling it might deform the ball just a heads up i'll find the link later and post it if i find it.

Sorry my mistake. It's just the regular tanks and not the nano kit.

I had an interesting outing today. Went Christmas shopping in Charlotte and since I was right there.. I visited one of the madvapes retail stores. I wanted to see if they had a kayfun clone and what it looked like quality wise. They had one but it looked like it was a clone of the 3.1. But anyway, I took it apart to see what was what. First off.. it's good quality.. I was impressed. It's made by EHpro. The chimney is straight, like the r91% but other than that, it's pretty spot on. Side by side I might could tell a difference, the plastic tank section is opaque instead of clear like the real kayfun.

But the most interesting part was the deck had a machine mark. Back a couple months ago I traded a sphreoid for a kfl.. the seller posted that the only flaw was a scratch on the deck. When I got it I saw the mark. When I took the one I had bought new from intaste.de I saw that it too had the same scratch in the same exact place. I posted a picture.

turns out, several people here have the same "scratch" in the exact same place.. so it has to be a machine mark. I was surprised to see a machine mark on the EHpro kayfun. I don't think it's in the same exact place as the 2 I have that are supposed to be "real" from SvoeMesto but it's there. The kayfun lite+ that I just got in from intaste.de doesn't have a scratch on it's deck.

The EHpro version that I saw today was not a kfl clone but a kf 3.1 clone.. the bottom was different, it was taller and had the fill port on the side. I just think it's... curious that both the "real" one and the clone both have scratches on the decks. I wish I could have taken a picture of it but my camera on my phone is crappy and wouldn't have focused that close.. I tried to remember the position of the mark.. it may be in the same place but I can't say for sure.

It was also interesting to hear all the talk.. the clerk was showing a new vapor how to fill some sort of top coil clearomizer... a vivi nova looking thing and telling her to replace the head (or whatever she called it) every two weeks..and said that some people use them for a month before they replace them.. the woman next to her said "I got over a month on mine!" There was a guy sucking on an ego, looking at a K100 and saying that his buddy had one of those and it gave off "a lot of smoke!" LOL He had a puritank and was trying to tell me how they have replaceable parts. (I have a puritank that someone gave me and I recoiled the head a few times and wicked it with cotton but finally put it away because I never got much flavor out of it) I just kept quiet and nodded every now and then.

I was actually embarrassed to vape with what I had with me in front of anyone. I took a provari/kfl and a roller/DID wicked with cotton with me today. The times I've been out and another vaper sees it.. they're like "what is THAT?" I don't really know what to say without feeling like I'm showing off.. which I'm not and try not to be viewed that way. I'm am proud of the gear that I have, I've worked hard for it and it's taken me a long time to get the stuff that I have. Of course I enjoy taking pictures and showing them off but I don't want to come off as an elitist snob. There's nothing wrong with an ego and an evod, I've got one sitting here in front of me that I use to show to new vapers (I don't come across that many though) I'm just rambling I guess..

How much were they selling the Kayfun for? I am about an hour and a half away from Charlotte. :)
