Just make sure you make it abundantly clear it is you who is providing us with the instructions so we all have someone we can blame when we F up our Kayfuns. :)

OH. Er. I think I made a mistake. I meant to say that. Um. I know someone who knows someone who knows someone who suggested this :D

LOL. I'd still post it but as always I would put a disclaimer on it and let folks know it worked for you but you take no responsibility if they screw theirs up (one of those YMMV things). Folks understand that.

I've heard of this kayfun whistle but luckily never experienced it. I've never owned any kayfun besides the KFL+ though. Maybe the more open drip tip reduces the whistle.

Not sure. Some people complain about the whistle, others don't. Seems to be hit or miss depending on how the air holes line up. For $100 Svoemesto should get it right on every one of them.

This avenue works a whole lot better if you're a damsel in distress. Us dudes are pushovers when it comes to a pretty lady. Good luck if you're a guy or have your wife/GF or willing female friend stand in for you. :)

Isn't that always the case, if you're dealing with [hetero] males? My husband can ask some guy a question, and get what is essentially a "I don't know and quit bothering me" answer. If I ask, politely and with just a trace of a smile, the male falls all over himself to answer, to carry my bags, to do anything my little heart might desire. Actually I kinda hate this, as I'm pretty shy, especially with people I don't know, and would much rather send my husband to do *anything*, especially to ask some stranger a question... but it is what it is. Men will do ANYTHING for women a lot faster and more willingly than they'll do things for another guy.

I wonder if this is true if the female is more than a little overweight? I've always been fairly trim; kinda homely, actually, I'm past 50! but I don't think men look at faces nearly as closely as they assess figures. I've always wondered if women with weight problems have observed the same response, that men will help women faster than men.

However, in automotive shops and other primarily-male venues, I think men will try to take advantage of women on price, where they wouldn't dare, with another man. I guess they think female = ignorant and ripe for fleecing.

No comment. I'm a seasoned male and, as such, I've learned when to keep my mouth shut. :)

I have 3 SvoeMesto KFL's, and none of them whistle. I always wondered if it came down to personal differences in vaping styles. Long, slow draws vs short, hard draws, etc.

I have no idea. You could be right. I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't bother me. I've had cheap clearomizers back in the day that would make odd sounds while drawing on it. They always made their way to the bottom of the bone box. But a $15 clearo is different than a $100 Kayfun.

It should be noted the whistling has been occurring on the Pluses only. I have never heard anyone complain about whistling on the originals. I have the original and no whistling.

I have a question, or questions, about the cotton wicking. When I was dealing with the small coils, for T3S/protank, I didn't care for cotton, because it burns so fast in those tiny chambers. However, with my new KFL+, I've started using my P&C yarn again, because it really does carry a lot more flavor than any kind of silica, even ekowool.

However, I noted today that the wick that was working so well yesterday had started to taste burned, so I changed it, and sure enough, just at the place where it's contact with the coil, it was very dark brown. I also noted that even 3 strands of P&C seems to be too much, it swells a lot when it's soaked with e-juice, and was quite difficult to work out of the coil. So, this time I only used half a strand of P&C, 2 strands of the 4 it's made of.

My question is about cotton yarn vs. actual cotton, like from a cotton ball. Does the cotton-ball cotton burn slower, or something? Because the yarn cotton seems to burn very fast. I have a lot of this cotton yarn, but if the cotton-ball cotton is really a lot better for this use, then I'll go get some, as soon as the ol man gets home from work.

Just wondering how big a difference there really is...?

Thx!

I have read the banter about whistling on a few threads. There must be at least a few that do that? However, I have two of the KF Lite + (SvoeMesto Originals) and do not get any whistling with either of them. Maybe I'm just lucky for a change?

Better lucky than good? I'm definitely not good but I do have plenty of luck...bad luck. :)

They are about the same...with cotton, less is more. You should be able to pull it back and forth through the coil easily. It swells with the juice, and too much will choke the coil and give dry hits.

That might have been it, then; it was so swollen with juice, that I had to be very careful removing it, so it didn't deform the coil. It didn't seem like that much when I first put it in, but I hadn't considered how much it would swell, soaked in e-juice. Hoping this 2-strand wick will do better.

Andria, I know Bridget76 uses P&C. She posts on this thread. Track her down in PM and ask how she does it. Coil diameter will be key though.
