Yeah, looks like it should work what I can tell from the tiny pictures. I might try shortening those wicks a bit though. Have it so it just barely reaches the deck. What kind of cotton are you using?

How much clearance do you have between coil and air hole below it?

Click on the pics :)

reminds me of the rayon thread. if you post anything negative over there you will get some attitudes from some of them. next thing I remember, a few were giving me crap because of bad punctuation in a post. its amazing the lengths some will go to get noticed. I have responded to thousands of posts and many of those posts weren't proper and may have been at times a little hard to understand. not once have I ever responded back and said "listen dude, if you want people to read your post do a better job writing it" instead I would re-read and still try to answer the post , but that's just me I guess.

Diver, can you look at Midniteoyl's pictures to see if you see anything out of sorts?

KFL+ Distributed in USA?

Just got my second KFL+ via vapemail today from a shop in Florida, and maybe you guys can help me. The first one was ordered from Intaste.de and is just fantastic. The new one, however, doesn't seem to be machined as well. Getting the threads started when assembling is quite the chore. Maybe it gets better after it's been used, but I'm hesitant to fill it before deciding whether I should just return the dang thing.

Also, the stamping on the bottom is new to me. Maybe you've seen it before, but I hadn't. In addition to the usual SvoeMesto markings it includes "Dist. in USA by VR Distribution". It also came in an authentic-looking box with both tanks, but no extra o-rings. I probably should chalk it up to my advanced age, but I thought sure I got extra o-rings with the one I bought from Intaste.

What do you think? Anything to be concerned about, or should I just wick, coil, and celebrate the arrival of my 2nd authentic KFL+?

I did. :)

I have only genuine KFLs and I'm a little reluctant to opine about EHPros. I've read mixed reviews on those. One guy had two of them. One had noticeably deeper juice channels than the other one. That alone kind of suggests EHPro has different "personalities".

Anyone else with EHPros that might be able to help Midniteoyl?

Love that tank!!!
I wants one...

What is your opinion of the Cana?
I've read so many horror stories. It had me either wanting to build one from scratch or just buy one- I just don't have the disposable income and if I did I would get another p-thingie

On the Cana, I have 2, my wife uses the crap out of the one that I gave to her. No problems with either of mine yet...... the longer they go the longer I think they will go. There must have been thousands sold and assembled by ... well kids with no prior assembly experience so it is hit and miss I guess. Just my opinion though
Vapor Freak sells the kit now but you about need to already have the tank to put it in or it adds up to too much money.
Before the Kayfun clones it was a viable option.

Yep... no real change from 7w to 11w. Lower than 7w and it is just too cold. Even at 11w its still a cool vape. Maybe I hit upon the '30w' KF build :)

looks like just a tad too much cotton, but not by much. also like bronze said maybe just reduce the length of the tail so there is not as much bend in the cotton. I do think that build is close though.

I kind of did but it does look close imo. like you said the tails are a bit to ling imo. I like the bend of the tail at the channel sort of instead of off to the side. if you reduced the length maybe and slide the tail over more, It would be more in the sweet spot. also reduce the total amount of cotton by just a smidge

Two more questions on my kayfun came up:

How do you change the wick mid tank without leaking? I think I've just wicked one that isn't down far enough to the channels, so it's not wicking properly. I don't want to waste the juice.

If one wants to use the steel instead of pyrex section so that it's all steel, is the only way to fill from the top? Or am I missing something?

Thanks! You've all been really helpful.

for me personally, I syringe the juice out. this does waste a slight amount. also people have unscrewed the top cap and pour out the juice into a bottle. the ss tank doesn't go all the way to the bottom, it also sits on the deck so you still have a bottom screw in which to fill

I thought that might be the only solution. I unscrewed the top cap which forced the juice into the channels, which seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

Hate the grammar nazis I'm on the net to chill and relax not get a grade not professional not getting paid if I thought anything on the internet really mattered in real life I would put at lest on period on this diatribe but I won't because somewhere in Cyberland there is a grammar nazi unable to sustain them-self in an argument but would rather focus on the almighty properly placed period comma or misspelled word maybe even a word that autocorrect corrected wrongly
Yeah if it matters or is professional I am capable of having proper grammar if not I would tell you to blame the current school system but that's not the case I just don't care and would rather make a valid point with my words not my period.
Thank u
And how is u more acceptable than a forgotten period

So instead of the plastic going on first, you used the metal piece?

For the mini to feed right, on the tobeco, you have to use the metal instead of plastic. The plastic is too thick to let the liquid get to the coil, unless you use some really thin liquid. On the original and the other clone (can't think of the name ) the plastic piece is made wider to allow a good flow. You can use the plastic in the longer version and it works just fine, just not as the 1st piece that screws onto the base.

I miss not being able to see the liquid level, but I'm happy that I can use it now. :)

My wife has one of those super fluffy cats. You know, it looks like a bush walking around the house? She looks like she weighs 20 pounds but in reality she's only six pounds. Her fur is softer than cotton and she leaves tufts of her fur all over the house. I swear I could have knitted me twelve more cats with what she leaves on the floor. Anyhow, I often wondered if that would make a good wick. :D

Oh, sorry coop. I see Diver got to it just before you posted anyway.

Yeap, I posted that at the same time he posted his answer! So I just replace my above with a response to him.

I am still curious about the metal vs. the pyrex section. I love the look of all metal, but so far, I don't like trying to top fill my kayfun. It seems one has to be SO careful with the air hole to make sure there is no flooding, and I'm not very coordinated :D

I'm allergic to cats, so I'm pretty sure that would kill me even if it was a good vape!
