The hole seems very close to the upper portion of the deck, you know what I mean ? Also does that hole in the 510 have anything to do with air flow?

Also to the peeps I had this issue where I had to wash my Russian 5 or 6 times and I still couldn't get the taste out. I washed my new kfl clone once with hot water dawn and a toothbrush no problems.
sorry, not sure what you meant by upper portion hole. The 510 center post does have some control of airflow. what happens is this, the 510 post is basically a screw that connects to the positive block. about half way up from the actual 510 threads, this 510 screw has a hole thru the center, and from this hole to the positive block the 510 post is hollow. This hole accepts air from the main air hole and carries it to the coil. If this 510 center post hole isn't lined up correctly, the flow of air can be reduced. to line this up, or to check it, you can stick a small needle into the side main air hole and see if it continues all the way thru. If it doesn't, then you may need to slightly tighten the 510 screw. you really cannot loosen the 510 screw because the positive block will loosen but sometimes a slight tight can open the draw a little.

I use a 2mm rod and 9 wraps gives me 1.355 on the HDMM and 1.4 on my p-thingie

2mm at 9 wraps...yep, I'd get the same as you. Q lives in Canada though and they have that funky math system up there. He's probably measuring in imperial ohms or something.

What's a liter? A quart and a liter bit more? :)

How long can silica last? I've been using the same pieces of silica in both my everyday Kayfuns for more than 9 fills. I use 4ml to fill them. I clean and dry burn my wicks every 4 or 5 fills. Still vaping and tasting great. Love these things.

My silica wick lasted 5+ months...aprox 400 - 500 mls before it was too frayed to use anymore. I clean/burned after every three tanks. Actually, it still worked but when you think about how easy it is to rebuild I had to ask myself, why?

Yep, the bloody thing is 2mm. And you guys are right, it should be 1.4Ω+. What's going wrong? Have I used 26g in place of 28 ;)

must be 26 q, because I have to agree on the majority here, 11 wraps of 28g should be in the 1.4 to 1.6 range

It was so bad I sent the Russian back. Also running a 1.6 ohm coil in mine extremely flavorful hard TH but not a lot of vapor? What's the highest I should push this thing wattage wise?
wattage on a 1.6 ohm coil? I would say in the 4.7v range. but really depends on how well you have it wicking and what wire gauge.
