A 510 battery connector has a female thread. A 510 carto has the male thread. I'm pretty sure the Cigirex is either a KR808 or one of the other threads that I can't remember the name of. If it's an 808, you can get an adapter for about $3 from most places that sell 510 cartos. If It's one of the others, you're probably out of luck. If you post a pic of the Cigirex, someone might recognize the thread pattern. The old e-cig sounds like it might be a 510.

IMO, yes, very much so. The G6 is one of only 3 mini's worth spending a nickel on, but all minis have limitations that just don't exist in an e-cig with a larger battery. So, it won't be as drastic an upgrade as from, say, a Blu. But it will definitely be a significant upgrade.

Here's a link to the best kGo deal going at the moment, AFAIK.
Elite Vaporworks KGO Starter Kit with Boge LR Cartomizers - KGO

thanks. what would you suggest for significant improvement on voltage without going with a mod. i really don't see myself as a lavatube or provari gal as i'm always on the go and people at uni would look at me funny when smoking in the halls with one of those. cheers

I'd probably go with the E-power if I were comparing the Kgo and the E-power.

That said, this video shows an AW 18650 IMR battery with a voltmeter and a dual coil carto right off the charger dropping under load to 3.47v. The 1100mah eGo battery held at 3.8 or so using the same DVM module and dual coil carto.

I don't see that on my Provari using 2 ohm or 3 ohm cartos. I have the same DVM module. Of course, the voltage I see on the DVM is boost regulated, but the voltage test built into the Provari checks the battery under load, sizzling the carto while the voltage displays. After vaping a couple of hours at 4.2v on a 3 ohm AW 18650 IMR, I will typically show 3.8v true battery voltage under load. I haven't tried it using a dual coil, though.

I couldn't see whether the AW battery was a 1600mah or a 2000mah.

I got an Epower from CCV and it's a great unit and works really well with the Resurrector cartos they included. I like it so much I bought a spare kit while they have it priced well and also got a spare switch to put away for the future. I vaped on mine all day yesterday on a single charge...
You made a very smart purchase. Whatever APV you choose you want to be covered with back-up parts or equipment. You just can't go out to Walmart and buy another E-Power 14650 or Provari.

I would recommend to anyone who is getting an e-Power to skip the AW's. I've notice that my AW 14500 IMRs are downright wimpy under load. The AW ICRs seem a lot more robust. I will never buy AW 18650s. The Panasonics are a far superior battery. I'll guarantee you that a kGo won't be besting a Panny in a voltage shootout. IMO, AW IMRs are terribly over-hyped on ECF, probably for no other reason than their chemistry. Their performance doesn't impress me at all.

Looks like both of these have their merits & downsides. kGO is eGO accessory compatible, comes w/ 2 battys in an inexpensive kit, but is costly to replace the batty if switch breaks or you if you just need another batty. The E-power batty is inexpensive, the switch is inexpensive to replace, but is not 100% eGO compatible. What eGO parts is the E-power missing out on?

Somebody's probably covers this in a later post I haven't gotten to yet, but AFAIK the only thing is the cone base of the eGo is of a smaller diameter than the E-Power, so anything for an eGo that has a skirt - like a Stardust - will require an extension to sit a bit higher on an E-Power. No biggie, I'm running one on mine right now, in fact. It just doesn't look quite as cute but personally I'm delighted with the trade-off. (I don't look all that cute either, but "form follows function"!)

i am just waiting for my epower to come in.. i am dealing with the CIGIREX and its fine, but at night it dies on me.. But if i can get some adapter perhaps ill use this with my epower cartos when i go out with friends and i dont want to carry around what might be perceived as a weapon, im kidding but it is a big harder to throw in the shirt pocket.

i need to look into 510s like the joye because this small ecig i have is going to die sooner or later and i think i am really going to like the manual.. this automatic can be a bit of a pain..

510 cartos should work with both the halo or epower correct? I have a CIGIREX and i need to find out what the MAH is. I am using it while i decide what to buy next.. unfortunately for me i had to buy 5 cartos from CIGIREX for $26 at the local store.. but i like the taste they are menthol. I actually think i should have paid 20 , i think the place i went was high.. but i love how i can get them for 10 online and probably much better..

I'm pretty sure the Halo G6 is a KR808D-1, not a 510, & I've never heard of a CIGIREX that I recall. However if you're just buying the juice to refill your existing cartos that won't matter for the time being. I've never tried Halo's liquids but have read both wonderful and terrible things about them here, so I'd suggest trying several small sample-sized bottles if possible. I believe some of their flavors are quite popular here, but one person's perfect is another person's putrid so you'll never know until you try 'em.

Best of luck & Happy Vaping! :vapor:
