The best thing you can do in life is let your past be in the past. I think many of us have had some kind of rough journey through life, that is just how life is for most people. In youth we can make some pretty unfathomable choices, and as adults we can look back on them and realize the difference (one would hope anyway) so the point is to look at who you are now, and if you like what you see, then you did not make mistakes, you just had to learn the difference to know how to appreciate it. Every time I talk with my distant father, he goes into the routine of feeling bad about the past, and his choices. All I can ever say is I don't hold onto the bad stuff, and we should just appreciate now for what it is. I can't say my life NOW is bad, maybe not as good as I would like it to be, but I am definitely doing well enough for myself under the circumstances.

I know this is off topic, but I am just getting caught up from the last few pages of posts here, and felt I had to chime in. I am glad you survived your accident Isaac. You are a wonderful person to know and I am proud to say so. That goes for the rest of you whom I've met here as well. I feel lucky to have stumbled into this wonderful e cig community. Love to you all!

I find that it helps to think of all the people that rely on you when things are bad. Sometimes it's all too easy to get frustrated/tired/overwelmed. When that happens, I find that doing laundry or vacuuming (really anything that needs doing and can be done with a slight feeling of accomplishment) can make things feel a little less "out of control".

The other thing that's helpful for me is to "get away" and that's the main reason I come to the forum. It's a (generally) great group of people who you can talk to/interact with while pretending (at least a little bit) that everything is "normal" and "OK".

/personal advice on survival!!! :)

I tend to clean when I start to feel out of control too, it gets my energy focused on something productive so when I wear myself out, instead of having a bigger mess (say from breaking stuff or lashing out) I get to sit back, recover my head space and look at clean room. I just warned my boyfriend not to piss me off just so I would do the dishes ;)

I've looked and looked but can't find the post where you said who the modder is! Maybe you could post it??? :D

Sorry too about life's troubles and how it's hit some people hard. A lot of days my wife is sad/depressed/cries for all the things she CAN'T do with the kids or just do period. I just try to remind her that she's at least still HERE and that is something that IS percious. The kids may wish mom was her old self but at least she's available for hugs, snuggles and "sleepovers". You've just got to be thankful for what you have/can do and try not to focus on what you don't have/can't do!

/optimism

You are soo right Mike! I always seen the forum as a support group of sorts where people chat and have a good time with eachother as they progress in quitting smoking, but have learned, it's much more than that to us. It is a gateway to tranquility of a family you wish you couldv'e had growing up, it's the best friends you wish that were always there as you traveled through the hardships in life and was there to pick you back up when you made a mistake, or the family that was there to encourage you to chase your dreams. Some people look it at for capitalizing on money, some look at it like a sweet escape, some as life, some look at it as a real family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife man. I really wish a miracle would happen to snap her out of it. It's hard to deal with things when you incapable, but it is the will power that can drive a person to their happiness. This video isn't to be funny in the least. This man lost his legs and always dreamed to run, with hope and dedication, it happened.

ps. Finding the ¿ modder's name is like asking how many licks to a tootsie pop! :D
Very well put Mike. I never thought about it before, but when I have anxiety attacks I start cleaning and then I calm down.

What's the proverb (correct me if I have this wrong) Yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future, but today is a gift, that's why they call it "the present". Something to that effect. Thank you Isaac and Mike, even though I generally have a pretty positive outlook on life and things, that outlook could go deeper than it does.

And Isaac, thank you for referring to me as part of your team :) I am very honored to get to be a part of this and to have gotten a chance to get to know you and Val and everybody on the forum. Mike hit the nail on the head when he said that coming here is a wonderful way to get a smile back on ones face.

Ok to keep with the thread... I'm off to remove my zebra stripes so I can test the new template. Not to worry, once I get the template worked out the zebra will be back. I've grown very fond of my stripes!
Hugs to all!!!!!!

Wway it is truly a great honor on this side too and it never felt better to say so. Everything does happen for a reason, with our interests, personalities and good intentions, I believe our paths were always written to cross and join. I really and honestly believe that. The road of life has widened for us, so let's go!
From Reading Your Post Isaac, I Think You Were Given Another Chance & From The Sounds Of It, You Are Doing A Good Job Of Payin" It Forward.
Great Things Happen To People Who Do That, We All Can Feel That From You. There Are Not Many Like You, Especially Who Have Recovered From
A Dark Place And Are Able To Pick Up The Ball As You Have. You Are Well Liked By Many Who Have Never Even Meet You Face To Face, That Speaks Mountains. God Bless:cool:
PS Great Stock Updates, I'm Sure You'll Let Us All Know How The LPV2 Gets Polished Up & When They Will Come On You Site, Thanks Again For Including Me In The Testing It Was Fun!!!!
Whiskey you are so sweet and great! Thank you so much! Among some of the hatemail I get about out stock, I even had a few telling me to stop with the stock update newsletters, because they were so lengthy and annoying to read. The greatest thing about talking to people, is when they come to me so angry about things like this and atfirst it's like a hate, but then as if magic is happening they turn sweet and kind, that is the greatest achievement. I still do order from other local compaines for educational reasons, and when things go wrong, i get the high road and a dismissal, I believe alot of people get this treatment from businesses, so they come to me with the scarred attitude and after a few emails, it's just...magic!

Your typing has surpassed me 3 fold! lol Congratulations your the new customer service rep! lol :D j/k
I'm glad you chimed in Jam, your words are spoken so true. Whenever I used to ask my mom for advice or anything really, her reply was always "Your mind can't handle what you need to hear, your only looking for what you Want to hear, unfortunately you need to live it first. Your age just won't allow you to comprehend it" Thank you Jam! I seen you on facebook a few nights ago and just smiled. I'm glad your here too! It is a real pleasure to have meeting you!

I just wanted to mention this: regarding vent hole placement... it makes more sense to me to have the vent hole(s) on the end cap, since that is the most common side for people to place the + end of the battery, instead of the side. Should a battery vent out, it's my understanding they tend to vent from the + button side, and with as little space as there is inside the chamber for gasses to escape, it would seem that you would want them to be at the end where the + side goes. I would recommend 2 smaller vent holes on either side of the middle part where the battery makes contact, rather than one hole in the middle, if that makes sense. Just my .02 cents after all the research I have been doing here in ECF.

WOW!! What can I say?? I'm all choked up...
I would be very proud to be a part of your Family. Shall I call you God Father? Or is it God Father Isaac? LOL
I guess that now I'm in the "Family" I will never be able to leave. LOL
Because no one ever leaves the Family! LOL
But on a serious note, I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes too.
Late next week or by late the following week, I plan to be doing my mixing. I won't be on here much. But if all goes well, I will be slowly making some fine liquid..
Isaac, I will send you a couple of samples to try out and like you to me, just be honest.
I know I hit Licorice on the head for my wife and mine is tops from 5 diff suppliers. I just made a very good Raspberry. I have to work on my Hot Cinnamon Candy, and I'm in the process of doing 3 other "unique" flavors of my own.
The 1st is called "Tantalizing Taz", the 2nd is "Delicous Diamond" and 3rd is "Sweet Tomorrow" (which I already have made up and its very good in mho). I have other secret flavor names to be approved. My store, I was torn between Myistical Vapors or Dragon Vapors Lair.
What do you guys think?
I just start to get my mind going and lose track of other things. LOL..
I like wizards and warlocks and dragons.

LOL Stu!! I been thinking Magic puff's, Dragon rings, Gauntlet liquid, Medieval liquids, Flavio Liquids (Flavio Biondo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) Warlock>Dark magic>Dark liquids, sorcerer's spell, conjured puffs, well you get the idea, it all just keeps circulating in my mind of madness then I realized that I never replied to you in post! If you like Stu, pick your faveorite names and we'll make a poll for ya! I get that your a perfectionist of sorts and the ol' gut never lies so I Know your liquid is going to be out of this world!

speaking of neighbors, the house next door to us just got demolished, and they are now tearing up the foundation and trees. OY the noise, dust and exhaust fumes!! Of course it had to be done the last month we are here, but nothin' I can do but moan and groan about it ;)
Ouch! That's like one of those that just adds on to damage to make the escape even sweeter, or one of those last kick in the butts before you get out of there! Optimism vs Pessimism ;)

Dig through the rubble for those hidden treasures everyone finds in the walls.
