This one came in jacked up...
I don't have the new Hoople proof 510 in my authentics. And my clones aren't modified for max current yet.
But so far so good.
Might not have time to low pro and lvd mod the clones for a couple weeks to give an update.
Few notes.
On the clones...
The button diameter is a mil or two thinner; won't be able to affix authentic button covers without some enginuity.
The doors are a wee bit larger. Authentic doors fit right on, but it takes a bit of mashing and pressing to get clone doors on the OG grands.
QC is as expected for the price. 50% on my order of 2 with 1 being jacked out of the box. The screw hole was tapped too high in the box for the guard/insulator to go in straight. May or may not be a serious problem. Though it was a serious pita to re - assemble just now.
The magnets on the box are also not perfectly flush mounted. Not sure if they're weaker strength or if gauss force isn't maximized thanks to no contact between body and door magnets. Won't be a problem at first. The doors may need some breaking in to move smoothly without resistance.
For the price, nothings been nearly a deal breaker as of yet. We'll see how the jacked one holds out.
