Starbucks instituted a vaping ban on their property. I think most will agree vaping in their store is not an issue but if you feel being asked not to enjoy a vape with your starbucks coffee in the outside tables please take a minute and let them know you will not be buying Starbucks coffee unless they change their policy.

The starbucks ban is a little old news, isn't it? I mean, shouldn't have we voiced our concerns when they first announced it?

That said, I'm Canadian, and Tim Hortons doesn't give a crap about what we do outside. :)
That's because everyone in Canada produces vapour when they breathe out outside.

I responded, for what good it will do. Personally, businesses have the right to choose what policies to make and enforce. I would obviously prefer to be able to vape while on Starbuck's property (when I can afford it), but at the same time I can understand how allowing vaping would upset smokers not being allowed to smoke if they see vapors vaping. It's just easier for a business to say neither are allowed.

Probably didn't think of it till now. Hey better late than never when it comes to voicing concerns. Like Skyz said, they haven't banned it YET. If they do, I'm more than happy to help you out, if you choose to fight the ban.

they don't care YET.

Exactly!

Buzz, good idea. I hope it makes them have a second thought or two. ;)

My point being if we sit back and allow vaping to be demonized in the same category as smoking it just helps the nannys and FDA ect..... with their own silly bans.

It can go Starbucks the company that cares we dont allow smoking or vaping on our property

Or Starbucks the company that cares we dont allow smoking on our property but we encourage Vapers to visit our outside tables thank you for choosing a heather alternative to smoking.

Thankfully, I live outside a small town in the foothills of the Cascades and haven't seen a Starbucks in at least a year... let alone been in one. Are they still on every corner in downtown Seattle? Too bad, I'd hoped that McDreamy's purchase of Tully's would piss off Howard Schultz enough to close his doors. ;-)

For what it costs to visit a overpriced coffee joint in a 6 month period (YMMV)... I'll continue to make my own, very tasty coffee at home, at my leisure, in one of the three Keurig single cup brewers that reside here.

If you're in my neighborhood and stop by for a cuppa'... you can vape in the house, on the sun porch or in the garden sitting in a nice Adirondack chair - watching the hummingbirds duke it out for feeder domination. If it's summer, iced coffee and tea are on the menu. If you catch me in the shop in the winter, you'll be handed a hot coffee, tea or choco... and drafted into subservience as I rebuild the clutch from a 70 year old English Motor Cycle.

Bla bla bla... I can go on like this for days. Really.

I agree and I would much rather go to your house and have a cup of coffee with you than starbucks any day. But thats not the point the point is each time one of these bushiness lump us in with smokers the we lose ground and the public opinion of vaping gets affected.

starbucks already knows how I feel about them-I never spend a dime for in their stores. as far as home brewed coffee how is that keurig working out for you? I haven't found any pod or single cup machine that brews worth a darn. if you have please pass along the model #. I like HOT coffee not the tepid brews most every machine puts out today. that's why its a comex or Turkish on the stove until someone can make a proper machine. do love my gaggia for espresso also.......come to think about it vaping is a lot like coffee for me- drip machines remind me of so-so clearos or cartos, ok but muted flavor. dripping or a good rba is like a nice espresso or Turkish coffee .... at least they both suck up $$$$$$ (they do share that) and I enjoy them both a lot....

Irrational fear and "nannyism" is the culprit...both of our communities are feeling the sting of peoples ignorance

everyone is not a criminal until they do something criminal- and I've never felt empowered to do something rash or stupid because I had a sigelei in my hand. can't say the same about the other. can't fix stupid
